- it shows every jump so you can see how to do all of them.
If you are referring to the one where you jump on the fence then it's mostly timing
you need to det-jump just before hitting the wall. the wall itself is slighlty inclined so some of your horizontal momentum will convert into height.
some general tips:
- crouch a bit before det-jumping, (crouch comes with jump but press crouch first)
- walk to the right and do the jump that way your flare explodes right under you for more height
- don't det too late after jumping or it will be weaker
if you don't want to shoot the floor you can do a detonated jump into the wall - your horizontal speed will make you go more up because of the incline.
hopefully I helped. if something needs explanation feel free to ask. gl hf.
with the regular one you aim for the floor and move to the right (like in the video) you can also move forward instead but that will make the timing a bit harder.
with the self det you go forward, aim to your right side and make a powerful jump to the wall (a bit easier)
here I recorded a clip to show them: https://youtu.be/KKqItLKCQ7g
Is the self-det jump also possible on C8?
1) make a very good crouch-jump, make the deepest crouch you can have before youre unable to jump - then jump and self-det at the same time.
2) for max height you do the whole process while walking to the right even when pressing crouch, because that puts the explosion right under you instead of to your side for more height.
timing is fairly hard but once you get it right you will do it more consistenltly after.
here's a clip i made for that jump: (it shows 2 ways but the second one is the one I talked about and it is much easier and better to use. description may have some helpful info)
