Spreading christianity without being emperor
Can you preach christianity and end the law of persecution without being emperor ? Or is there any way to help the christians without being emperor ?

There's ways to help, at least quests that the Christians give you in Rome, but to change imperial policy, I'm pretty sure you need to be the emperor.

After all, Aut Caesar, aut nihil. It's been a long, long time since the Senate was capable of coherent independent policy, and this is a veiled dictatorship.
