So I might be blind (Quite likely), but how does one declare war as Caeser?

Anyone else have issues trying to rescue a lord from a dungeon? I dont have the option to rescue them once I kill the guard and steal the keys. Can anyone advise?

I hope that soon, some update, will come with Spanish translation, I know English, but if I can barely read Spanish, English fucks me up, it's horrible to be dyslexic.

It is a great mod for me onestly, when there will be the next patch/update i cant wait onestly.

This morning I got kicked off the discord by some guy who did not say what for as I was trying to explain the popular hoi4 mod, Equestria at War. It may be the case that he was offended by some of the content of the mod but more probably some of the historically accurate punishments that I'd suggested in form of text flavour or otherwise. Again, I can't know since he freaked out and banned me without even another word about it.It's pretty obvious there are some people who are playing the wrong game and do not respect the time period. This era was history was brutal and so were many of the punishments for the time.

It was a time period where unnecessary mercies would signal weakness to ambitious lords. It was a time where sparing a rebellious tribe could result in generations of never ending wars and stalemates. Imagine the years of war that'd have followed has Moses spared the men, women and children who worshipped the golden calf, who'd have surely caused a civil war. All of a sudden, how you punish people matter.

An instance being the Second Palmyrene uprsing by the nobility who rebelled again, given that Palmyra was spared any form of capital punishment for the first rebellion. As a result, it was destroyed, in part, as a consequence of Aurelian choosing to spare the native aristocracy from severe punishment for rebelling against Rome. Had Aurelian only punished the Palmyra nobles with some privilege restrictions or crucifixion of the nobles, Palmyra may stii be standing now
There are also the Carthaginian Mercenary War that brought the city to near total collapse. Hamilcar Barca's decisive actions in the war, making use of large spectacles of crucified rebels to crush the resolve of the mercenaries had saved the republic.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED that I was arbitrarily removed by one guy who couldn't explain himself or allow me to converse more with one of the other account users who are involved with the mod and the community, and did spare me the consideration. I AM VERY CONCERNED if there are people in the development who will act so inappropriately, and who will botch further opportunities to expand the flavour and mechanics of the game. I am offended that there are devs who will not appreciate historically appropriate practices and more concerned with censoring certain historical aspects in favour of sucking up to your personal modern 21st century standards. THIS IS A GAME ABOUT THE 1ST CENTURY! Give us something that reflects that.

The dev team should consider the kind on people they want to work on this great mod. I hope this mod doesn't just suck up to HR karens who think that not including systems where choosing to crucify the local lords after conquering a settlement to increase order with some stability malus that affects production and tax in exchange for less likelyhood of rebellion for a certain amount of time is too offensive for us, and anyone who suggests such things should be banned from any participation with the game and its community.

I downloaded this mod via nexus. In the launcher it is asking me for a Viking Conquest serial key, do I need viking conquest to run this mod?

This is the best mod and it DOES not get enough exposure. I think its the picture, make it more epic roman with the legions marching out of Rome or maybe in combat? Anyway, keep it up. Every play-through I find something else I hadn't on the previous!

Cant use barracks as an independent ruler, and recruit roman troops if not holding a roman title... dont you think thats kinda weird? Barracks in one of tribal settlements wont let recruit soldiers...

This is like, really fkn good. more political intrigue options would be cool, or expanding what you can do as emperor, but already way better than most "full" games, like its not even a fair comparison.

@trenchcoat14, incompatible troops, maybe? If I recall, some troops react differently, so if you got a pile of foreign mercs recently, that could be it. What does the morale report show?

im usually pretty good with Moral management, this time i just suck at keeping it over Average all the time, as soon as i have to travel it goes from excellent to Average in near 2 days. am i missing something? foods stocked, resting more often, paid on time, companions like eachother. i just cant work it out

Did you build a barracks in the town @CreePRaster?

Idk if this is a bug or something but I can't recruit from my own towns. I play on Mac so that might be the problem.
I went for a bit of an unconventional start by starting my own kingdom by taking a Britanian town, formerly captured by Rome. I set my culture as Roman cause they've easily got the best units, but now I can't recruit from this specific town or any other that I capture. I have very high positive relations with the town and it is normally able to be recruited from. Makes it really difficult to win battles when I've only got basic troops and everyone else has elites. I tried switching kingdom culture to the town's original but that didn't work. My problem is kinda niche, but if anyone's got the same issue or a fix, I would much appreciate a response.
Other than that, this mod is easily the most well-made and otherwise fun to play. Heavy props to the dev.

I try playing making the Jewish revolt, was fun, but still the game is made to play as a Roman.
Truly this is one of the best mods I have ever play, many cool stuff and things you don't see in other mods, like you can change your wife clothes lol
You have missions while serving in the army, religions, management in cities, making your own legion. You can take over the town from someone in your own faction if the guy has a bad personality. This many things and being so well polish make this mod other level.

@DariusAntonio21 what you recount has never happened in my game, I've became Emperor no less than 4 dfferent times. You most probably messed up your savegame or the mod isn't entirely compatible with Mac, which is the case for many other ones too.
Don't speak like it's the mod's fault lol

Cities are named after their owners (as the main name) and not the cities themselves, help.
