Okay so this update is doing the opposite of the stated intention. It's still possible to make the double dense farm rows. In fact before this update I wouldn't farm like that (I like the intended design personally), but now I can't fit my 2 wide rows neatly into my plots of land, and had to switch to the single wide dense style.
