Good evening, does anyone know what to do to solve the problem of the game filling up memory and crashing over time? Has there been a solution released other than limited play?

just to survive i have 9 units, 2 tanks,2 healers one melee one ranged, 2 fighters and three archers. the tanks and fighters are always poisoned and have to recuperate, also constantly get down state in bed UNEQUIPPING equipment. which if that happens to my archers i have a hard time to make sure the spiky crossbow bolts go to the guy with the cross bow not my archer which has fire arrows. cause then they cant do anything. so im NEVER using bloody cross bows again, its frustrating.

is it possible to make a bow occasionally shoot an arrow to do aoe from a legendary bow? was thinking about that wile having to micromanage combat. lantern mace ignites enemies when fighter spin attacks which is really nice so maybe an archer could do the same in a way?

can healers start healing people again? they only heal in combat and if anyone gets poisoned and isn't in combat they get downed, in there beds. despite having the antidotes and healing equipment the herbalist does not prioritize trying to heal them so they don't die. i do see healers sometimes treat fallen allies with a bandage a few times but they don't heal anyone if its not combat. its quite annoying, always losing three or four units, recuperate, then immediately after they leave the bed guess what. another raid from what ever boss dude i got to go and kill. there is no time to regroup. I'm able to deal with them after dealing with the raid two or three times before they aren't poisoned bad enough to deal with them. so are the healers just incredibly dumb to me now or can they start healing people ANYONE low on health.

This is an old, known issue from the base game - press F5 to refresh the game's UI when the screen is black but you hear music :)
We have solutions for this (and many other) issues in our Discord server's FAQ, where we're active the most!

[Bug]Bug report for the Firstbloom update: eggs often generated on trees or statues and floating in the air, makes them impossible to be collected. Cutting down trees won't help since eggs remain floating.

game's stuck on a black screen, downloaded the mod in game and when i tried to start a colony this error code showed up

Thank you so much for the updates :partygoblin:! There's no other game like this with such a unique vibe (I've tried many city-builders).

I would really love an optimization patch for the game. I know many players would be very grateful if such a patch were released :healthyhearthling:.

@frog knight no, theres no fix for that, its just old coding. Now i will say, ive gotten up to 63 and THAT was unplayable lol but i definitely had a little army

I apologize if this has been anwered but I cant find a direct answer so I'm positing here. I adore this game and im beyond devastated it was shut down as I have been for years. I can still play the game in its current state except for 1 issue, If I used to go above 20 hearthlings the game is unplayably slow and the pathing for the people basically stops working. Has that been fixed in this mod in any way?

Hi, just asking, but will ACE, some time in the future, make the Dwarves as a new race, like it was intended in the original. I know there are the Darkmine Dwarves but, just the normal dwarves from questlines.

The bale of dry grass can't get filtered in the storage spaces. So I have to filter for all plats or nothing. That means, every storage with dry grass in it will also have all other plants in it.
Is there a way to make it filterable?

Alternatively, that serving vessels be considered in a different category than decor. If at all possible, a new category altogether.

QoL feature I'd like to see added: Empty serving vessels (teapots, pitchers, coffee pots) allowed to be placed specifically in supply storage (racks, shelves, tables). So that my Brewer doesn't have to run a marathon to get to the teapot stored on the other side of town.

@The Cream of the Crop - Have you replaced the x64 openssl file? I had this problem recently, then replaced I think 2 ssl files relating to the x64 install and it fixed it.
I believe the file is openssl-1.0.2i-x64_86-win64, and IIRC there are 2 files in a zip file that need updated.

I have an issue with my building. I tried ES first. We have the ACE recmnd and approved mods. The building in question is the Muramasa Trapper. They dig the foundation, then as soon as they start trying to place the floor, it goes into a loop. They walk up, drop the wood, it disappears to ES, then they walk back to a chest, pick up the wood, bring it over, drop it again. Help!
Paul the Great:
This sounds like an issue with the ACE building material collection system. When collecting resources for a building, they look like they're dropping the item on the ground, but they're not actually doing so; if the AI thinks that the action is failing for some reason and needs to abort, then when canceling the action they would in fact drop the item, and it would get scooped up into ES. But even without ES, the fail state you're describing means the item would just be getting dropped on the ground and then either restocked or picked up again to bring to the building and drop again.

Im still having issues with the trappers. whenever i play the game and set up a trapper, no skins are being processed and i get two errors that seems to only effect the trapper from doing anything with the skins.

i really enjoyed this mod but now it just crashes the game so i had to remove it. i don't know what might be causing it but please look into it. i would love to use this mod again.

I tried F5 on run but it didn't work. I'm going to leave my comment below here, but it could absolutely be my build that is the problem; i'm currently running Pop!_OS linux and using Proton to run this, so I'm sure support is limited.

I have this set on steam to the "Latest build", so I don't know if that's the same as this workshop mod. I've been playing for 20+ hours without this mod, but when I subscribe to it, I'm having issues launching. It doesn't get passed a blank screen, nor does it come up and give the "radiant" logo.
