Can you quickly check if the United States in that game has a different tag? It could explain why the names didn't load.
Try opening the console and typing in this "tdebug" and hover your mouse onto your nation.
It should display a country tag too.
For example, USA, ENG, GER, ITA
If the mod replaces these tags it could result with the game ignoring the USA tag for the Apres Moi Le Deluge version of the USA.
It is posible for me to create an update for that mod to include a new Tag and ship prefix.
Another possiblity that the mod didn't load the name is that maybe Apres Moi Le Deluge replaces a bunch of ships with another catagory therefore rendering the old types useless.
EDIT:
It appears that the Apres Moi Le Deluge mod does not replace the USA tag but it simply has a different prefix and simply does not work with the mod.
Unless the mod devs replaces the USA tag with a FKA, I would not be able to add ship names to it.
I beside am still new to the modding scene and less experienced with compatibility which a wrong in my side.
