If a enemy pawn is downed, there is a very high probability that he dies instandly (for no reason). This is meant to balance the high amount of raiders that would be available to capture. But the second reason for dying is the destruction of a vital capacity (organ). So while this will not affect the amount of enemys that get incapacitated, because most of them die because they are downed, it will rise the amount of enemys you can capture slightly.

ohhhhh i see. so it doesnt affect the overall chance of them dying when downed, only lessening it if you would kill them instantly by shooting off an organ. Ok so youd still recommend it then, it sounds very good regardless.

there is a mod that changes the down chance (i have it and i think i set it to 10% more than the default setting) just to have a small chance to be able to recruit people

Variable Population is also a good mod with this and the one that does the down chance, (but i forgot the name)
