It does nothing but just add more hitpoint, armor, and shield to FE, crisis ships and starbase, so it already almost compatible with vanilla game and ACOT. Only a few line conflict and cause a few issue like Citadel won't work and disappear at next load of save.
I tested it by manually adjusting conflicted lines, and watching how Unbidden invade dozens of systems and beaten back by multiple OPAF AI empires far more interesting than ACOT override alone.
* Using with ACOT override result FE fleet power up to about 2.5M. Resulting almost unbeatable only except well build AE (and the Stellarborne of SOFE of course :) )
* Unbidden invading fleets had about 700k power, it was about year 2300, game difficulty was Captain or Commodore (can't sure I used Scaling Difficulty with default end game year 2400, I summoned unbidden by using perk from advanced ascension mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1199002146 )
