Leaders for playable factions have special uniform for selectable menu. That model is not used anywhere else besides campaign map (not always, but campaign map model is close).
Battle model is always different from campain/menu, presenting person in armor, not regal clothes. So technically starting FLs have 3 different models and that's how should be.
