Empty Continent?
Maybe this is a stupid question and I just need to play longer to find out, or maybe it was already answered and I just didn't see it but...

What the heck is up with the landless continent south of Akavir?

As an update it seems to have tiny lakes in it, like "Lake Silvan" and "Lake Kazidar"? But these "lakes" are in the middle of water?

...Atlantis?

Edit: Looking it up, the likeliest candidate I can find is Aldmeris, but I don't know why there'd be no name for it(the continent itself is a single water wasteland province), or why it seems to be isolated from the rest of Nirn (even more so than the Daedric Planes).
