Do you have a save you can share that shows the issue? That would be helpful for trouble-shooting.
Theo  [author] 18 Aug @ 6:00pm
I'll have to look into it more, it might be a bug. The on_actions for dealing with the aftermath of battles are extremely confusing so I probably did something wrong.
Klutz2020 17 Aug @ 4:51pm
okay, i got it to work every 4th or 5th time rest of the time it doesnt work, and i am making sure i am attacking the country that has the spell cast on them, am i missing a requirement or something? this the first time i have messed with spells really
Klutz2020 17 Aug @ 4:41pm
Does the Soul Trap spell not work, or am i doing something wrong. I cast the spell on a nation, and then stack wiped 5k troops, so i should in theory gain 7.5k manpower, but i gained nothing
Slender 1 Aug @ 5:31am
@Theo Yes, it started like any other country. But I didnt get any of those territory reveal messages on my playthrough. Whole Tamriel-except Hammerfell,High Rock and Summerset- stays foggy.
Theo  [author] 30 Jul @ 3:19pm
@Slender When you started the game, did you have a reasonable amount of visibility around you?
Stuzerain 30 Jul @ 1:07pm
@Aetherum Looks good now, thank you!
Slender 30 Jul @ 4:14am
@Theo I am playing as Abibon (sload), there is no other mods.
Aetherum  [author] 29 Jul @ 8:13pm
@ZoneLoner
In a nutshell, Dwemer Observatory allows you to get special country modifiers - one for each sign you can find. To find the sign, you need to spend mana points to press directional buttons. After you find a sign and activate it, there will be a shortcut button available.
Theo  [author] 29 Jul @ 8:09pm
@Slender Who are you playing as? And do you have any other mods enabled?
Aetherum  [author] 29 Jul @ 8:03pm
@Stuzerain Just pushed a fix. It should now be v 3.3.6a in the main menu. Please let me know if you face any other issues :)
Aetherum  [author] 29 Jul @ 7:51pm
Hi! That's a bug, I am pushing a fix right now
Stuzerain 29 Jul @ 5:33pm
I'm unable to diplomatically annex vassals because "Can NOT interact with Black Mountain Nation". Has anyone seen or resolved this?
Slender 28 Jul @ 3:54am
It is year 630 but still lot of area stays foggy, even can't see my allies territory. That foggy areas are supposed to be reveal by time, doesn't need conquistador. Is something changed in this patch?
ZoneLoner 28 Jul @ 12:21am
Does anyone know how the Dwemer observatory works at all?
Theo  [author] 26 Jul @ 9:02pm
No, it is against Paradox's terms of service to make a mod that circumvents DLC restrictions. Without Leviathan you can access canal great projects as those are available in the base game, but to access the rest of the regular great project you need the Leviathan DLC.
HIAS! | T10Titan Subscribe 26 Jul @ 3:08pm
Is there any mods for allowing anyone to use great wonders?
ZoneLoner 23 Jul @ 3:28pm
Gotcha, thanks!
Aetherum  [author] 23 Jul @ 11:54am
Custom events, national ideas, mission tree, advisor portraits and decisions.
ZoneLoner 23 Jul @ 5:11am
What's the extent of the Dwemer content? Any custom mission trees?
Aetherum  [author] 23 Jul @ 4:09am
Yes, we have a lot of Dwemer tags in ESU!
ZoneLoner 23 Jul @ 1:51am
Is it possible to play as the Dwemer in this mod?
Leo Atreides 17 Jul @ 2:55pm
In scenario 17 i found switching to theocracy. I searched for monarchy before, that was my mistake. Thanks!
Aetherum  [author] 17 Jul @ 2:02pm
perhaps it is in Scenario 17
Leo Atreides 17 Jul @ 1:05pm
Thanks - that helps a lot!

I already did some digging and i found the "chimer ashlander" to "house chimer" event - but i was unable to find the event that changes the goverment - do you remember how the file containing it is named?
Aetherum  [author] 17 Jul @ 12:56pm
Hello! The culture convettion event fires randomly, so you can never predict when it will happen. The change of government form happens later, around 500-700 years, either via event or decision. Hope this helps!
Leo Atreides 17 Jul @ 11:02am
Can someone shed some light on the way the the chimer ashlander progress into houses? Sadly i did not find any information online.

There is an event that changes your culture to "house chimer", but i am unable to track down what the prerequisites are. Sometimes the event just fires very early in the game, sometimes it fires very very late.

And even then you are still a tribal nation unable to form one of the traditional known dunmer houses, so there must be more event involved.

Can someone explain this lost n'wah here which events are involved and what prerequisites they need to trigger?
Sincap Adam 26 Jun @ 5:26pm
i united summerset islands and colonized all of the pyndora and that redguard anchestral islands. But they are colonies and always fight with each other. I have no dlc . Is there a way to annex them ? i saw region mechanics in the mod settings but decided to ask to you first
Sir Teddy III 20 Jun @ 10:23pm
New magic system is a really cool addition, however I must say: INSANELY OP. Maybe tone back how much mana you gain for free each month and add a statewide structure to generate mana, add events to gain mana, or something like that. Feels a little silly getting to waltz into a war vs someone twice my size and blow ten spells and pretty much autowin with no real cost since mana generates so quick.
Atmoran Knight 15 Jun @ 11:07pm
Amazing mod, I mean I sank abysmal 300hr to it already lmao. However I wanna ask devs, guys when are you going to address the horrible horrible governing capacity issue? There are far more provinces than base game, in order to rank up your empire you need some 2000 development in all of your provinces. This in turn translates into A-console command and buff your way out B- do the same but lawfully and for 200 years or C-conquer more lands.

Well conquering is always fun and my god this mod makes it even more fun with sometimes broken combinations of buffs lol but governing capacity is NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH to justify any conquest beyond let's say 50 provinces. It almost immediately goes over capacity and modifiers are just not enough to fix it. This is a major issue since after a while starting any war is automatic death sentence as your unrest metrics gets tanked and 50k peasant army alongside 30k particularist just bust the palace doors.

@Averious
There isn't really much finished/polished content past the Alessian revolt so to my knowledge there's nothing specific for Dragonborn Emperors at the moment

@Ganon Cannon & Sturmdragon
<3
Ganon Cannon 1 Jun @ 5:56pm
Best mod ever, I have clocked in 200 hours of just this have not really touched vanilla game! cant wait for EU5 version when game drops
Averious ღ 25 May @ 3:01pm
Are there any mechanics for Dragonborn Emperors or is that not really a thing?
ϟSturmdragonϟ 21 May @ 6:15am
This is such a work of art, I absolutely love this.
Aetherum  [author] 12 May @ 2:41pm
Hi! Yes, we have such plans, although we still want to release some content for EU4 before that ;)
Gurtannon 12 May @ 1:45pm
Do you plan to move the mod to the Eu5?
I am just curious not to demand anything you guys already did a lot for both eu and tes community
OomsouKitsune 4 May @ 1:42pm
I see, thats a shame cause I got a necromancer minotaur and thats like the coolest thing ever, sadly he keeps dying without an heir too so that keeps causing major problems, from what i have looked up the immortal normally does prevent the Old Age check for dying but i guess not for this mod, guess I gotta save scum to make him live long enough to have an heir now
Aetherum  [author] 4 May @ 1:31pm
Hi! Immortality in EU4 is not absolute. We can only ensure that your immortal ruler lives longer compared to another ruler without this trait. Hence why, your immortal rulers can die at some point in your playthrough. True immortality is granted only for some rulers via constantly spawnjng heirs with the same name. You might want to check Pyandonea and Oblivion to play as them. Hope this helps :)
OomsouKitsune 4 May @ 1:10pm
So I am playing the Mintoaur tribe, he randomly started with the immortal trait yet keeps suddently dying at random moments with literally no explanation besides old age even though he is immortal, is that normal? I wish i knew what was causing my ruler to die
Suspicious Entity 26 Apr @ 4:36am
I just saw the *outsider* pantheon that was in the game.

You make Under Council happy, yes-yes
Aetherum  [author] 25 Apr @ 1:12pm
Hi! Yes, we plan to do more start dates, but for now our focus is to finialise the out-of-tamriel map.
Chazam 25 Apr @ 7:57am
Any plans on ever adding new start dates? Would love to see a more laterish one
Spadająca Gwiazda 24 Apr @ 1:35am
Its a little hard to enjoy this mod with just the sheer number of provinces, sad there is not a competitor
Theo  [author] 19 Apr @ 6:09pm
@shaketin

The Dragonskin ability is your Racial Power based on which race you are playing. So far each race that is playable in the main Elder Scrolls games has their Racial Power implemented in ESU, and we plan to add powers for the remaining races as well. Your Racial Power is free to cast, but has a timed cooldown. You can find the cooldown listed in the country modifiers menu where it will show you the date that the ability will become available again.

As for the two Circle spells, we'll have to take a look and decide what to do with them. It might just be a matter of tweaking the costs.

Thanks for the reports, and I'm glad you're using the new Spell Menu!
shaketin 19 Apr @ 4:08pm
The spell menu is a really cool looking change to the mod. Just have a few questions and something I'd like to point out.

As a breton I get the Dragonskin ability in the spell menu. It says the spell will run out in a year, but at the cost of no magicka. So does that mean I can use the ability whenever I want at the cost of nothing? Also does the ai use the spell menu too?

In restoration, there is a spell called Circle of Protection and another called Guardian Circle. They both seem to do the same thing at the cost of 200 Magicka for both. The thing is Guardian Circle is much better than Circle of Protection, because it offers an additional 500 manpower for each unit expelled. I feel like you guys should just get rid of one or the other.
Theo  [author] 17 Apr @ 10:21pm
They're in the Forgotten vale. You can get to them through Darkfall Passage, although you might have to declare war on them first in order to actually use the passage.
Cheffo 17 Apr @ 9:52pm
How do you find the Snow elves?
Reven 16 Mar @ 6:09am
Ah, I found it. Thank you
Touixius Malicius 16 Mar @ 5:57am
Started a game there too
You have to activate missed maps part in decision menu
Reven 16 Mar @ 5:45am
Hey, this is a really cool mod, I just have one problem. When I started in Akavir and finally discovered Tamriel, almost the entire continent was empty. Later discoveries showed that this is also the case on the other continents. Is there any way I can set it so that all the nations you can select at the start remain active?
