The full description of ports and shipbuilding
The Port allows to create ships which can be send on an expedition or on a quest. Once the port is built you are able to construct a ship, this will be built by the assigned workers and not by builders. When the ship is finished close the port window and reopen it, allowing it to be updated from the building page to the ship/quest pages.

The ship page displays the current assigned quest, the estimated return of the ship, the needed resources for journeying onto the seas and the specific required objects to complete a quest. When loading the ship it is possible to cancel the preparations by pressing the cancel button, this will return all items used so far as preparation.

The quest page displays all the possible quests the ship can do. The currently possible quests are Expedition, Fishing trawler, Merchant escort, Privateering, Rescue at sea and Whaling. Each has its own set of required items, rewards, duration and success rate. Once a quest is selected clicking start will start a series of events from preparing to returning from a quest. Any rewards gotten by quests can only be removed using donkeys.

The success rate is differently for all quests, however weather conditions can lower the odds even more. Cold weather and rain or snow will produce an extra chance of failure depending on the severity and duration the ship has to endure these conditions. The calculations are only done up until the midway, after that point the ship will return either successful or unsuccessful.

The ship will depart and arrive using the Buoy waypoints placed. These can be found in the Buoy page. It is possible to select up to 5 waypoints which the ship will follow (from 1 to 5 when departing and from 5 to 1 when returning). The X Y position can be visually shown by clicking show/hide buoys.
