Interestingly, the new on-the-water market (serves as gatherer hut and storage at the same time) also has a land version which could be found at vanilla Storage section.

I think this Mod also adds one additional resource Rope, with a new kind of building Ropeyard to produce it.

Yeah nevermind, after finishing the build the expedition option didn't appear so I was really wondering how it worked

@Blinz, hi, what exactly do you want to know? Ships are build at the modded Port. Port is used to send expeditions, almost the same way how vanilla Port works.

It looks like carry weight issue caused by mod altering villagers behaviour..Are you using mods only from Recommended Mods List?

Thank you for the chic mod. And can you tell me what it means - my ship went on an expedition and they wrote to me that he was stranded. But I did not understand what he brought me. Nothing changed. A small boat appeared at the port. I equipped the new ship, but so far I have decided not to let it out. I like it so much)) It decorates the city. In other quests I understand what I’ll get, but on the expedition I don’t understand very well what exactly they are exploring. (By the way, I saw the return of the boat, it sailed under the ground, only the sail was visible. Apparently because my port is on the river)

You can just ignore the 0/6 people In the UI, I never got around adding the code for it. As for the buoys they will all be at the same position the first time making it look like you only have one. You can change the coordinates of each in the buoy UI tab.

1 When you collect an expedition in the set for it are 6 people. Who should it be? Products, clothing and badge - people - 0.
2 I see only one buoy. I don’t see the second, third and next ones. I have a city on a river that goes to the sea. Unfortunately, I overlooked where the ship went. He disappeared, in Porto are the goods for the expedition, except for these 6 people. And I do not know what to do next) Thanks for the answer, and a wonderful mod. He's great!!!

No people are needed to send an expedition, assigning more people to the building will just speed up the gathering of materials. The buoys will guide the ship when leaving and returning, it moves from buoy to buoy in ascending order when leaving and descending order on arrival.

I look at the Driftwood Collector as a down River Logging Industry (To me it is Plausible as purposed that way;)

That's OK. There simply are some things that the sea cannot provide. Honestly, I think the driftwood collector is pushing it a bit.

You will also need a small supply of hides to build ships, and a steady supply of building materials. I’m trying to get nearly every resource in this mod but it will take some time before it will be finished.

This is excellent and a great deal of fun for me as I really like small island starts. I'm curious what additional land objects are needed to use all the included buildings. So far, as far as I can tell all you need land-side are a flax farm, a wheat farm, a rope maker, and a furnace (to make the cast iron required by the rope maker). Are there any others? I am building in between two rather small islands with limited room.

The first part of the Ports and Merchants trilogy is now available. Its main focus is to test the new expedition system. The update contains most of the basic features but may need some major balancing and bug fixing.

The button should be second to last on the menu. If you don’t see it check if you have the Laketown.lua file in \Life is Feudal Forest Village\mods\1413535226 it has all the code for the buttons.

On my screen the Lake Village is near the right end of the bar. Depends I think on mods I have loaded.

The ropeyard is located under the production/crafting tab while all the other buildings are under their own tab near the end.
