Bugs and Troubleshooting
If you find any bugs or gamecrashes whilst playing post them here. Try to give as much information as possible towards the origin of the error. If possible try to find the exact origing by using the log.log file under ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Life is Feudal Forest Village\log.log. The logfile may not be the easiest to read but it will mostly give the exact origin of the crash.

A common reoccurring error is a gamecrash after placing down a building. Due to large amount of buildings with custom collision files, you may stumble upon crashing the game whilst placing a building. In most occasions this will be solved by building less buildings at once and/or firstly building a path towards the building area. If this does not solve the problem you will have to accept this as one of life’s unfortunate events.

Another error is the game crashing when reloading a savefile where food has reached maximum storage limit. You will either need to reload an older save or upon loading increase the food limit.

Okay, I have an -actual- bug this time... My villagers a freezing to death because they seem to have forgotten that firewood exists... Most of it being stored in one of the new docks-storage buildings.
They can get and use charcol fine, but not firewood.
IF I go and manually take firewood to the houses, it'll count, and they'll use it, but they wont go and collect it from anywhere themselves.

Not sure if this is an issue with the storage not telling villagers that there is firewood available there, or that the houses ((Not just the mod houses BTW, vanilla ones are affected too)) are glitched and don't tell their residences that firewood is something they need to go look for...

Anyway, this makes the mod pretty much unplayable.

Are you using any other mods that change anything to the storages? Because the barn and warehouse are exact copies of the original, except for a change in appearance and collisions. I’ve currently got 2.000 firewood stored in the stockpiles all around the village without any problems, thus it might get tricky tracking down the cause.
Jonarus_Drakus 12. aug. 2018 kl. 10:55
In the build menu, both are listed as 'warehouse' (though once selected, the model is listed correctly).

And I semi-resolved the storage issue... By not using the new warehouse at all... The populace seems fine with collecting firewood again (from other storage types).

As for 'mod conflicts' - The only mod I have that I think could be impacting on this is "Share the load" which allows you to customis what is stored where (Hence the fact that firewood goes to warehouses rather than barns).

Luv luv this mod one of the best.
2 things I find
(1) chimmney goes right to bottom
(2) Um there is no fire in the house chimmney? Is that coming soon? They do use chopped wood in the house resources. Thankyou for a brilliant game hope this helps you

I generally don’t go into the houses whilst playing the game, so the focus on the interior will be less than anything else. However I will try and remember to add some fires and blinds with the next update.

Thankyou :)
I found another,
In the menu for stairs and docks, the bridge stairs icon shows field when hover mouse over it yet correctly shows the name bridge stairs when selected.

Bridges and pathing bug
When I start the water village by making a ramp, then a drawbridge to keep animals out of the lake village, then I make wooden docks with pillars for walkways. The problem then arises as the villagers won't walk on the wooden docks, is there something else I'm supposed to use? And is anyone else having this problem? :cgpout: fyi I am using the docks from the mod and not the vanilla docks. I figured the modded docks would work better and haven't tried the vanilla ones yet. :cgpout:

Anshelm I made my whole lake village only on wooden dock with pillars and it's working well, people walking, animals waking, practically everyone is walking, going on land and then returning, I do not have any problem when it's bulid this way, look at my screenshots, later I'm going to post another lake village- very big one

The wine does not seem to register in the Village Info.
Also I find that the menu is too low over the new building unlike the UI buildings the build menu is above the roof so I can see the different aspects of that building placement.
I mentioned it to Megadori and thats not something that can be modified?
example. I was thinking maybe building icon dimensions is slightly larger than the UI buildings ?? No rotating or turning shifts the position of this menu it is always in the center and difficult to see with red zone from other building. Doesnt appear like this building a Barn or house from UI versions. Thanks

I believe the UI is always in the center of its length and width position. When it comes to height I assume it calculates it based on the height of the prefab and not the added modules and decorations. However I’m just guessing since the UI is a rather tricky thing to mod/code compared to the buildings.

Hello Sir Foxy. I might've found a bug with driftwood collector and mollusc farm. I noticed that workers only collect wood and fishes. They don't seem to collect herbs and firewood. I don't know if it is because I use a mod that changes villigers' carrying capacity, but I found a way to make it work even with those changes. I looked into Megadori's castle garden and implemented changes based on how he did it, and it seems to work.
I don't know if anyone else have this problem (i didn't see anyone mentioning that), so I thought I'll let you know.
Keep up the good work :)

I currently don’t have much time to make any changes. However people will only take resources away once they can transport at full capacity. This doesn’t create any problems with the base values, but when modded it can become too high since I limited the maximum storage of resources to 30.

The fish farm apears to me to be set for 30 fish and 17 herbs. If the player has increased the carry weight as I have this means the fish farmer is not removing fish and herbs from the farm.

The tradefair building is that the green building squares are not blocked like in all other structures in lake village, but you have to use the shift to do it and it moves as if it were on the ground.

Another thing I comment with eien no shikaku is that only the tradefair lost the part for resource management with Extended Storage Management Mod only showing up in the barn.
