Can this be played without Steam (GOG version)?

I learned about the existence of this mod today and got super excited about giving it a go. Unfortunately, I purchased BZCC on GOG and I can't find any download links to VSR outside the Steam workshop, which doesn't seem to offer such. Is there a way to play VSR for me or am I stuck with the vanilla GOG version now?

There is a Battlezone Mod Manager tool you can use to basically download mods from Steam and add them to the GOG version of the game. Otherwise you can download them on steam manually and copy them over to the GOG's mod folder
