Unable to see augmentation menu
Hi. Sorry for creating new discussion I cant for the life of me create a comment although I have an unlocked account.

The problem is that I cannot see the augmentation menu under soldier menu. I have all the required mods. I started a new campaign with a refresh of config. I tried using all versions of community highlander, stable, unstable and beta. Can't see the menu. I am using a lot of mods but there is no conflict with augmentations in the Alt launcher. Can you help please?

I have mark zero augmentations installed and all gravely wounded soldiers get prosthetics so that is working fine. But I cant control the prosthetics even after researching cybernetics.

Also I do not have MINT or anyother mod that possibly modifies the UI of soldier menu.

I have tried a minimal start with only highlander beta/ augmentaion/ vest slot/ mark zero augments. Still no augmentation menu. Can someone please help me with this problem?

I also am having a problem with this. I hope somebody here ends up figuring out what changed. I have lots of wounded soldiers now that need augments but can't get them because the augment menu is missing. I also now have Cybernetics researched. Perhaps its a highlander update that broke it?

I tried all versions of highlanders and with minimal 3 mod start. Still not showing. Something's not right. Maybe it's the game version. Do you have the latest patch Saber2002?

Ya, I have the game patched to current. I also re-subscribed to the mods (both highlander and this one) to see if they were out of date or anything. Currently Highlander 1.9.0, and current steam version of the game.
I am running about 9000 other mods (exaggeration of course) but nothing else seems to be conflicting or not functioning properly. Perhaps a re-verifying of the origional game files might fix it? Have not tried that yet. It seems however like nobody else is either playing this or is having any problems (Or saying anything.)

Okay, So I don't have the augmentations "menu" through engineering. However I managed to get the mod to work in a new game (with the bare bones mods, just aug and a better advent). I can select a soldier in the armory and there is the augmentations button and I sucsessfully installed a mark 0 aug (from that mod).

What I did was re verify the game files, then go into the config folder ( Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config ) and removed all the configs for mods. Then all my crash logs (though I don't know that that would do anything truth be told, just for testing reasons).

Steam Verified that the game had two changed/corruped/missing files. With all that combinded it seems to be working now. Going to give it another test with "ALL THE MODS" that I want, heh. Will update accordingly.

Well congratz. I believe it's a mod conflict then. Kindly update when you can. still can't get it to work. the sodier get mark zero augments automatically when gravely injured and there is no augmentation option.

Okay, long list of mods, but with that list I currently have it working. Again, no menu in the engineering bay, but each soldier now has the augmentations option when you go to select their loadout from the armory. Everything else seems to work as intended. I even have the improved augmentations functional as listed so far. They are adding the correct bonuses in missions as far as I can tell.

One thing I had to do in my troubleshooting was to re-verify the game each time I added or removed a mod. Though your not getting the game direct crash as I was (as well as not having Augmentations working) it seemed to me that just selecting the mods and disabling them from the launcher was having much effect. Oh, I also used the reset to defaults button a few times that clears the mods on the launcher. Looks like the spinning "refresh" button from a web browser. Right above the "select all" button on the launcher. Once that resets everything to no mods selected, reselect the proper mods to try and make it work.

I think thats all I ended up doing to make it work. I hope this helps you and anybody else whom runs across the problem. Sorry if the mod list is long and unneeded.

I have just about the same mods. You probably have 5-7 mods that I don't use. Some of the ones I do use are different. I'll try your fixes and see if it works for me. I can't individually check each mods because my laptop hangs on start of the game,and i can't bear that for 114 mods. :p

Also just wanted to ask whether you tested the mods one by one during a mission/campaign save? Because obviously you have to research cybernetics. Or does the mark zero mod ads the option from the start?

Mark Zero adds the option to go to the augments section from the start. Technically you can't "add" the augmentations until you have a gravley wounded soldier, though I have found that the first mod from the Mark Zero I can always add one of the four even on non wounded soldiers. I don't know if thats another mod "conflicting" or just an unfortunite side effect of it being a mod and not being fully tested.

As for mod testing to get my stuff to work. I spent all evening friday, most of the day both saturday and sunday trying to get things to work. See when I have mod conflicts it seems like instead of doing something in the game, it just crashes the whole client on startup. So my process was the painful, start client - crash. Remove mods, remove all config files, re-verify game client. Boot to see if it launches. When I get a working list of mods. I start going back and re-enabling mods until the game breaks again. One to three at a time. (Because my memory sucks and any more I will not remember what mods I activated). When crashes, I re-verify game once more and start again.

Do be sure that the recomended and required mods are activated each time though, and that you have removed the mod config files with each re-verify. Becuase the re-verification does NOT remove those, and it will cause the game to crash on open again asking for mods that are not there.

Of course, your problem might be slightly different than mine. But it seems like the re-verification on mod removal is required each time. Sadly.

WOTC Mod Config Menu appears to be the common denominator. Disable it, and load an existing game. The Aug menu should reappear.

I never ended up getting the augmentations menu itself to pop up from the engineering section of the advenger. However the workaround in the character screen augmentations menu was working as expected. So I just used that. Didn't have a problem throughout the playthrough.
I expect its a conflict somewhere? Though I couldn't tell you which mod might be causing it.
I did the whole re-enabling mods and re-verifying each time. I did end up with a working selection of mods.

Okay so I just realized that I was an idiot and didn't have the vest mod enabled but now I can't start the game I tried starting a new game and it just crashes and I don't understand the log at all I feel like i'm just going to give up if I can't figure this out tomorrow xD Here are the last lines of the log file (as steam doesn't allow links -_-)
