Dreadnought Mech
More armor and wargear?
Any chance we could get some of the other Dreadnought weapons or even armor patterns? While I appreciate being able to use this with XS so I can use the Krak Missile Pod with a PPC (stand-in for a Plasma Blaster), I would love to have more stuff that's actually from 40K and not BattleTech/MechWarrior (nothing wrong with BT/MW; in fact, I grew up playing MechWarrior 2, MW2: Mercs, 3, 4 (with Black Knight expansion and the IS and Clan Mech Packs (Masakari ftw, btw)) and MW4: Mercs (both vanilla and MekTek Free Release (RIP :steamsad:)), and I eagerly await the release of MW5: Mercs next year, but I digress). So here's my wishlist in order of priority.

First things first: vanilla and XS modular thrusters work fine for us, but I'm probably not the only one that would like to have something a little more 40K-friendly for shoulders. While I'm sure the Adeptus Mechanicus would consider this idea to be a tech-heresy, perhaps you could take the standard Castraferrum pauldrons and attach Land Speeder propulsion units(?) or the engines from a Fire Raptor (an even WORSE tech-heresy, but maybe this could be an extremely rare and expensive thruster whose blueprint cannot be acquired through Experimental Mech Blueprints and can only be found as a Vault Guardian drop?) to them? With the thrusters/engines, their anti-gravitic plates would also explain the reason why a Dreadnought, which is normally incapable of jumping, can do so with relative ease.

Next, we need more weapons. You can only do so much with an assault cannon and missile pod. We could really use a Dreadnought CCW, Chainfist, and maybe even twin-linked Lascannons/Autocannons or a Multi-Melta.

Lastly, what about the other Dreadnought patterns (I'm personally partial to the Contemptor and Telemon)? Hell, why not get some Chaos stuff in here as well?

Hey lordhood thx for the suggestion, I was kinda stumped for an idea for a dreadnought booster however your idea seems like it would work perfectly.
For other weapons I had plans for a Lascannon and a power fist (a chainfist also sounds good) but I probably wont stop there.
As for other mech bodies I could probably do a Chaos variant as well as other chapters, im also working with a friend now who is doing the art for my next mod so these might be made a bit faster if I can persuade him to help me out with these.
Can you also add the Power Fist?

I'm personally dreaming of the day when I can attach twin-linked Lascannons to my mech.

Although a Multi-Melta would be a close second.

Pretty sure Twin-Linked Lascannons are in the mod now.

not really versed in 40k stuff but could a Imperium dread use a butchercannon from the chaos side when its ''salvaged'' ?
In Starbound? Of course. However, it's still a tech-heresy and you risk tainting the rest of the machinery.

Also, the machine spirit would be PIIIIIIIIIIIISSED.

I personally have the idea of adding the Imperial Knight set, even if it may be a bit weird with how the mechs currently work with all their pieces together.
