Next update will definitely have the bayonet lug even if there is no bayonet... yet.
The fire animation has been a thing I've wanted to improve since the beginning, since right now it doesn't actually play, instead skipping directly into the reload animation.
I hadn't been able to figure out how to get the hammer to "stick" after firing, but I may be able to fix that and the animation hiccups soon... hopefully.
Depends on how much Unity wants to cooperate.

And, althoug it's not a musket, a Martini-Henry rifle might be you're style too.
Anyway, great mod. The musket is probably my favorite mod so far, can't wait to see what else you've got.
Also, if you're interested in another paper cartridge weapon, the Civil War era Sharps carbine is a good bet—the falling block breechloader that cut off the back end of the cartridge to expose the powder and then used percussion caps.
Okay, that might be a tall order, just looking at model design and reload animation. But a guy can dream.
