huh, i thought that leaving a message would subscribe me automatically to the discussion, but steam didn't notify me at all of the responses. what does console write when you try to open smh menu, usual unknown command thing? do you hold down the binded key too when opening the menu?

perhaps some sort of issue with steam workshop mounting stuff, as when smh doesn't appear at all then that generally seems to be the cause

Same issue for me. It says, "Unknown command: +smh_menu and Unknown command: -smh_menu"
But before that, the menu got bugged. The prop didn't go green When I right clicked it, it showed an x window at the top right corner, etc

does that happen if you disable all addons and only keep smh enabled? you can disable addons through gmod's addon menu, which won't unsubscribe you from them

generally not rendering green halo around selected prop is some bug, which doesn't prevent selection from working. although other stuff, dunno what's that. main smh menu had an X in the right corner? or perhaps some other window, like load/save or settings was opened? as well as console commands don't work on smh generally when smh is not installed, which can be the case due to steam not mounting it correctly somehow, or due to smh just not being enabled in addons.
