Problem animating
I'm trying to animate a shotgun with a ragdoll and when hitting they playback they don't move at the same time, the shotgun moves a bit faster, but if I manually check all the frames, they do move at the same time.

I'll mention that I'm not hosting, I'm at a friend's session. Is this a playback problem or...?

EDIT: we just tested, the host has the same problem so it can't be a server thing

The shotgun needs to be welded into the ragdoll if you want it to be attached to the hand. When playing back animation between two frames, the shotgun and ragdoll move linearly between their own positions, because they do not have any parent/child relation with each other.

If you've taken these into consideration, then another issue in multiplayer can be Source engine's lag compensation when playing back animations, for which the only solution is to try slowing down playback rate, or not using the playback feature at all.

I didn't weld the shotgun and the character, I'll be trying this next time I use SMH, thanks a bunch!
