Best class for Magnorbs?
Hello, I'm starting fresh with FU. I really like playing with the mangorbs. I'm going to assume its considered a ranged weapon so I'd want to play a soldier and level dexterity right? Thank you!

Which class is best for spear using?
I just created a new character with Frackin Universe and because of Frackin Races, my character does extra damage with spears. I haven't chosen a class yet, because I don't want to do anything irreversible, but I am just wondering if there's a class that is better for spear users.

First Off, picking a class IS reversible. You can reset it at the cost of losing all your XP. But early game that doesn't matter. As for the actual question:
The Strength stat increases damage with 2-handed melee weapons (so spears). You could focus on strength with any class but obviously that choice doesn't harmonize well with all classes. If you really want to maximize spear damage than Knight is the way to go as they start out with 5 strength stat right away. Plus there will likely be a Knight subclass in the future that does spear damage.

Whoops. Unfortunately, Magnorbs, being a unique weapon, does not have the right tags to have a weapon bonus. I will update it to be considered 'ranged' in one of the next updates. For now, I can only say sorry that it doesn't work yet as you hoped :(

Yeah. Not sure if being tagged as unique could be a good thing, unless you make a few subclass for certain "actually unique weapons" with no obvious classification (like the Magnorbs), while you reprogram the other "unique" weapons that have pretty obvious categories into the weapon classes they actually fit to (like the Adaptive Crossbow, Doom Cannon, etc.).

Heh, is it also possible to classify weapons with custom tags, so that they can be separate from the rest, though? Because a subclass for Magnorbs to make an actual Magneto class would be neat. Or a class that only depends on the Adaptive Crossbow, while loweing the stats of all other ranged weapon types?

I feel like those subclasses would be too specific, to be honest. And I think we are basically finished with the amount of subclasses and specializations that we will add, because it is a lot of work to add them, and we have college :/ It's just the balance and techs for each one that we are working on, before we start adding them in.

Well, how about making them rather speciffic to the main 6 classes? Though, yeah, you are right.

Thank you Chaika! No worries, thank you for this amazing mod!I will continue to level up soldier class in the mean time then :) I still get the benefit on my other ranged guns in the mean time :)

Indeed, it is! I tend to play the game with the Ninja class and the magnorbs, because I think those count as throwing weapons, even if they do return.
