Permission to create a submod of your mod
Hello, I'm new to modding, and from what I know so far, I only feel confident in basically copying your mod and making my changes to it, but I feel like that is rather rude to do since it could potentially take subs from you, and I'd really only be changing a few lines of a couple of files.

It has always bothered me that ethic points are so limited. In my mind, there should be a minimum amount enough to be able to have a stance on every axes, not just a maximum of 5 of the 7 axes. In reality, a nation can have a stance on each of the positions on the ethics scale.

So, what I would like to do, since there doesn't appear to be any updated mod that does this, is create a mod that increases the ethic point limit of yours for both players and AI of course. I'm also thinking of increasing the civic points by 1.

My problem is, I don't know how to make it that the game will read a specific .txt file with a unique name. I notice in your mod files you have the file I need to edit called "ethic_rebuild_defines.txt". How do I make it so that when my proposed mod is enabled that the game would read my version over yours, if it's possible? After all, I would want it compatible with yours and require yours so that it doesn't take away from your subbed base. I appreciate the work you've done, and I merely just want to make this small tweak to it.

If you don't approve, I understand, and I'll just keep the mod private for my own personal use. But if you could help me out on answering that question and if you approve, it will be much appreciated. Thank you.

You'd replace it with a file with the same name (in a folder with the same name) that has all the same text EXCEPT the part you want to change. Your mod would need to be higher in the order of priority (usually just putting an ! before the name works) so that it's selected instead of the file in this mod (or you can make it an actual submod, but that's more complicated to do).

I am reasonably sure that it's okej for you to create a submod (he didn't have any problems with a compatibility patch I created a while back), but couldn't hurt to ask :).

Also, I ran into a problem with the creation of my submod. If either you, petruxa or you Typical_Name might know a fix to it, it would be appreciated. The bug I ran into is mentioned in detail here
