Dramatic Deaths

Descriere
Replaces the vanilla death animation with a weightier, more dramatic motion. More specifically, it replaces the first six frames of the animation using hand-drawn pixel art with the intent to make the act of dying and killing more impactful than the original flash-n'-blink animation, having a silhouette of the character recoil very noticeably before being sent back to the clone bank.

For more information, consult your nearest carnivorous wildlife.


Note:This affects all entities that use humanoid animations, player or NPC. It should have no compatability issues with multiplayer (it's client-sided) or other mods unless it's something that affects the player death animation.

It's not the only way to address someone in the comments. You can always just, you know, say their name. It is, however, the go-to method simply because it's used on so many other platforms and is recognisable and familiar.

Starting a comment with @GasmisenFeik is no different to starting it with just, GasmisenFeik, but the former is simply more common.

Once subscribed to the mod and liked it, but aside that, thanks for giving more clarification on the whole “@InsertNameHere” thing. I always thought it was an Augmented Steam or BetterTTV-like thing for Steam, and it was a legitimate feature or something, not a sort of unspoken “slang” on here.
