Toggle Traffic Lights

Beskrivning
Note: Toggling traffic lights is possible with Traffic Manager: President Edition. Version 11.0[github.com] even added the option to disable traffic lights.
That means TM has basically every feature of Toggle Traffic Lights -- while offering a lot of additional stuff. Therefore I recommend to use Traffic Manager: President Edition over this mod. Additional TTL hasn't been updated for quite a while, whereas TM is updated quite often (including new features!).

Tool to remove or add traffic lights at junctions. With Cities:Skylines patch 1.7.0 (Mass Transit)[forum.paradoxplaza.com] that functionality was directly included into the game. But Toggle Traffic Lights provides functions beyond of C:S:
  • Access the Junction Tool directly from the Roads Menu.
  • Activate and Deactivate the Junction Tool everywhere. Disabling the Intersection Tool restores the previous used tool.
  • Remove (or add or reset) all traffic lights at once.

A more detailed description can be found on GitHub: https://github.com/Craxy/ToggleTrafficLights

Usage
Enable Junction tool via:
  • Button in roads menu.
  • Ctrl+T. Opens Roads Menu.
  • Ctrl+Shiftt++T. Keeps current location. Remembers current tool and restores it when you press the shortcut again.
  • Ctrl+Alt+T. Opens Traffic Routes Junctions Info View. Remembers current tool.
Use the Elevation keys (PageUp and PageDown) to change the view: Overground, Overground with tunnels visible, Underground (Info View, everything's painted in white). Doesn't work with the built-in C:S Traffic Routes Junction tool (Ctrl+Alt+T). This uses the default C:S tool without changes.

Batch commands:
Located in the (C:S built-in) Traffic Routes Junctions Info Window. Besides opening that window via the Info View Menu on the top left you can use the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+T (see above) or right click on the TTL button in the roads menu.

Disable Traffic Lights:
When the checkbox is checked new junctions are always created without traffic lights.
Existing Traffic Lights aren't touched by this option. Neither does it prevent manual toggling of traffic lights. All it does is ensure all newly created junctions don't have traffic lights.
The Setting is located in the Traffic Routes Junctions Info Tab.

Note:This is set on a per savegame basis and is not a global setting! That means you can play one map with this option enabled (-> no traffic lights for new junctions), while on another map you use the default C:S behavior.

Note: Previous saved traffic lights via TTL (prior to Mass Transit patch) are discarded. The new version uses the C:S built-in way to save Traffic Lights.

Unsubscribe from this mod and use Traffic Manager: President Edition (Stable) instead.

It's better to use TM:PE

This mod conflicts with the Transfer Manager CE mod,
Causes this window to pop up on map load.

If only this could happen in real life I mean work in real life as an app to download on your cellphone. Imagine all the insane possiblities.

Working fine for me.

I cannot reproduce that. Even with the newest path TTL seems to work just fine.

Is there any specific function that's not working? or maybe conflicts with another mod?

TMPE slows down my game, and you can't choose to stop using TMPE once it's in your save file. I'll stick with this, thanks. The game puts in a traffic light every time you have the audacity to connect two roads together if either of them is more than 2 lanes. I typically have to turn off 50-100 traffic lights all at once because all traffic lights do in C:S is slow down traffic. If I were running TMPE, I could be fancy with them, but it's easier and often more effective just to disable them.

Yes, it is now.

Unfortunately C:S didn't always provided that option -> that's why I created this mod it.
And it's great TTL is now mostly obsolete: the functionality was so important it got included into the base game

(it's not completely obsolete: provides option to disable all traffic lights. But that's now included in Traffic Manager, which you should use because it's a great mod to manage traffic!)
