if that's the case you need to adjust your brightness and/or contrast. the difference in the 2 imagaes are extremely noticeable in places where shadows fall. instead of being straight up black where shadows are you can see what's being shadowed quite clearly. a good example is the exit on the autolathe where instead of just the sliver at the top you can see the entire door and cautionary tape on it.
