You need to install the doorstep, just like in unity.

Here it's named winmm.dll just copy that and the cosmoteer_injector.toml into the Bin folder in your cosmoteer install.

You can right-click the mod in this list to show where you can find those files and you can right-click cosmoteer in your steam library then go to manage and show local files to find the cosmoteer directory. Those files need to be placed in the Bin folder.

NOTE: enabling or disabling this mod won't do anything.

that said....isn't this game a custom...engine?? Why is BepInEx here...?
