Description
Enhanced Default Slots:
  • City Building Slots increased to 10 (+4)
  • City Zone Building Slots increased to 4 (+1)
  • City Zone Slots remains at 2 (same as vanilla)
  • Zone Building Slots increased to 4 (+1)
  • Estate Building Slots remains at 4 (same as vanilla)

Tailored Customization:
We offer various sub-mods tailored to different player needs for DIY slot configuration:

Requires the Better Planet View mod (UI optimization). Theoretically compatible with other UI mods that display additional slots.
Modifies vanilla zones and districts. Compatible with most mods when using the compatibility patch.

To make your mod compatible with BPV - More Building Slots, implement these changes:

The fix for getting extra Zones and the ability to purchase different Zone specialisations in middle of your Save file

Scratch that, I fixed it. I used the zone 10 slot fix instead of compact, and put the compatibility patch underneath the 10 building slot mod instead of above it. So I used the load order in your last comment, but with the patch below everything else.

Also, im not sure if THIS is the bug that everyone is having, but no matter what load order or fix I choose, it keeps happening. I've tried following your comment below this as well. Even if I only have the base bpv turned on, the city area has a huge box with no buildings in it that you can scroll down up and down but thats it. It has one single + sign to expand it, but clicking it doesnt do anything. The buildings still exist because I can see in the economy tab that the jobs I have in my city buildings I built before installing the mod are still employed, but you cant see anything.

Sorry I realized I was being confusing with my last post. What I meant to ask was, why should I install bpc more building slots if all I want is more city slots? Why not just install the more city slot mod instead of the more planet slot mod as well as the more city slot mod? I see why you do it, but it says its required.

Currently to get things working again, you need https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1665106451 under UI Overhaul and https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3485762595 under BPV - More Building slots.

This is my load order setup I am using:

@jimmyjamm80 Performance is my reason. Where everyone only gets 1 to 5 max planets and no population bonuses. This also allows to push towards planets to defeat empires, vs 12 hours of hunting down every planet. There are also mods that make the game a lot more difficult and add a lot of new buildings. I prefer to play tall with only a few sectors, so my economy runs off a single planet. And with the new building additions, I use 40 city slots and 6 districts to have one of everything or need silos to expand my storage.

Im confused why do i need this mod for just extra city building slots? If this mod already adds city building slots, why would i also get this mod on top of the extra city slot mod? I dont want it to be too easy and have toooo many building slots, just a couple extra for misc buildings in city area.
