Original Mod W900 Semi-Truck

[B42] Port

-Added Chaintires + Recipes
- If you want working Tanker Trailer then you need Autotsar Trailers to enable functionality
-RotatorsLib is required and integrated as sub mod.
-Cabin Truck working Matress,Mirco and Fridge.
-Cattle Trailer
-Car Trailer
Do not leave the game or go to far away when you have a car loaded on the Car Trailer with items in the trunk or seats you need, its inventory will reset, i cant do anything about it since its a tsarslib feature and iam not a lua guy !!!

To access the Cattle Trailer you have to stand here or on the other side.

New Freezer System for the W900 Box Truck (+4 Battery Slots)
You can find the Recipe to craft it in the W900 category
It will consume about 2 Car Batteries a day if you dont have the Engine Running

This will only apply to newly spawned Box Trucks[/b]

If you cant attach Trailer make sure to have this loaded last or after any mods that fiddle with the radial menu.

I need a semi trailer sized container as a freezer. I guess filling it with portable freezers could work until a real thing exists

You can convert any fridge to a portable freezer

Not sure if known; when I was hauling a semi with a tanker almost full of fuel, and I was on asphalt, I had to limp home at 10 mph. Gr. Then I get on the lawn to get the tanker into position, dreading the worst after a half hour drive, and it went 30 mph?
Not sure why this occurred; i have screenshots because I was showing friends. I have other mods, but none of them mess with vehicles to my knowledge, or at least in a way that would affect driving. (Does prying open doors count?...)

Also would it be possible to have a refrigerated semi trailer variant that works similar to the "W900 Box Truck" but with a 30<50% larger capacity with higher battery slot requirement etc for balancing.

I love trucking in zomboid.

Transporting meat or eggs in a refrigerated semi trailer would be equal less long haul trips without the food spoiling.

My other suggestion is a tandem style trailer for the "W900 Box Truck" in different variants, animal, dry van, tanker, lumber etc. as well as those options for the box truck itself.

if you are using "Realistic Car Physics" add the following to the sandbox options under "Individual Torque Adjustments":

/Flat Top:1.80/Day Cab:1.80


I found that when hauling trailers max speed would be only around 30 even with speed demon trait. this settings fixing that giving you a top speed when towing trailers closer to around 60mph.

you think maybe making it a little faster would help, because usually by the time it actually stops the truck in its tracks is when it his the 4 rear wheels, or maybe whatever script that gives the vehicle more traction?

Thats a problem thats not really fixable atm. the physics are at its maximum with the trucks, since you have to handle it as it would always be on full capacity, so the suspension has to be super hard, else the truck is stuck wenn fully loaded since its grinding on the back wheels.
