This mod expands the vanila options for the Cooking category, adding more recipes, weapons and food related item drops.


What can i expect downloading this mod?
  • +40 Types of new drinks.
  • +500 New food recipes.
  • +500 New Items.
  • +10 New weapons.
As Project Zomboid is constantly updating, if any recipes i've added are put into the game, i'll make sure to remove them.

Changelog 2025:
So! build 42 unstable is here, hooray! There are a few new things i've added, but for the most part, the focus was on porting the mod to b42.

New Things:
- You can now see and read fortune messages.
- Added Blood Sausages that can be made with animal blood. (thanks Turbotowns)
- Added Minced Pork and Turkey.
- Added Fried Chicken Wings and Fried Whole Chicken.

Tweaks:
- Tweaked several recipes, for less bloat.
- Tweaked the protein value of Protein Powder(from 600 to 400). (maybe this'll help you Uppy?)
- Removed several items that are now vanilla! (Gin, Vodka, Rum, Tequila, Vermouth, Ice Cream Sandwiches, Pizza Cutter, Steel Ladle, Metal Whisk, Cola)

**translations will be missing for a while, until things are settled!


  • Do i need to restart my save for this to work?
You don't have to, but you'll need to explore new areas for the new items - Also, make sure to backup your saves, as b42 is still very buggy!
  • Does this work on Multiplayer?
Since B42 is still in unstable, no.
  • Will this work with "x mod"?
It should work with any other mod on the workshop, but if it doesn't, feel free to let me know!

Lol, I can't believe I had to hunt down what mod added [certain immersion breaking clothing here] to my game. And from a food mod! :bleach: Disgusting. :steamthumbsdown:

Personally, I wouldn't want to see any polikore stuff in the game, either, but the author never claimed authenticity or lore accuracy, and I do support freedom of expression so I don't mind. They can put in whatever they want. Besides, it's very easy to make a personal private mod to override and remove the unwanted items anyway, and it's less trouble than complaining on a public forum.

If you enjoy rice you need this, I thought my 2 bags of rice were not going to last long but turns out I can use every grain so I have about 200 rice now.

As a trans person I for one personally wouldn't use the pride stuff since it would be a bit immersion breaking in my eyes so im not a big fan of their addition, but as ive always said more player choice is always a good thing in games like this where there many different ways to play. They're there for people that do want to use them but obviously they aren't forced on players since have to actively go out of your way to get them and even then don't have to use them. Shoot, they could even have RP value to some since you could do a character that was a activist before the end of the world if someone wanted to.

At that point anyone throwing a big fit about them is just being hostile for the sake of being hostile toward others existence. Kind of a jerk move if you ask me

aren't the aprons craft-only?
it shouldn't be any bother even if you are deadly against all pride stuff - just don't craft it and don't wear it, easy peasy
if they are spawnable in build 42, just throw them into a dumpster and click that nice delete button, problem solved catharsis achieved

Why are yall triggered over a trans and pride apron? Just use the modpack and dont wear the apron on your character lmao. Its not that deep even if you dont identify as that :bleach:

Jeez, I was giving @Louie365 the benefit of the doubt but if it's that then they suck, representation and pride isn't political propaganda - or any other kind of propaganda, go get a life.
