NYOWAB 2

Description
“NYOWAB 2”

We're half way through the series now. This level is the second of four. It has a few small changes that effect how you play the level.

This level also starts slow but increases in intensity until you complete the level.

Again, I have to admit that there are a few things tucked away in various corners.

Oh, be careful of exploding mountains.

Have fun.

This level was developed on a 4K monitor using an IS of 30. If your AR isn't 4x3 I suggest using Window Mode.

That's why I put tunnels in on the later levels. To prevent this problem. If the developers got off their butts and gave us the ability to protect track segments the way you can protect other objects we could prevent this from being a problem.

Soooo, came across a problem SR.
At the end of the game, sending some planes to the rightmost towns - the first went into the left one, which didn't accept it, so of course it spat it back out.
That's normal, yea? The ISSUE:
The second train was off the map, and the first train met it head on - off the map.
Which destroyed tracks.
Which can't be replaced.
Harsh man, harsh!

I've shared a screenshot depicting the station bug.

Well maybe +20% is not enough. That means 18 minutes for this level which might well be too hard for most. Ask Hika for advice. He beats me probably 9 times out of 10, he is one of the best, and he makes maps. Probably he gives +50% or so.

Final thought. Your maps are relatively long, and long maps with tight time limits are rather frustrating. Nothing wrong with a really difficult puzzle level, but good ones are short because you often need quite a few replay's.

Anyway your levels are more about running trains than puzzle oriented so probably nothing wrong with rather lose time limits.

@SR You tend to set very lenient time limits. Most often I can do it under 50% sometimes even around 33%. Now you shouldn't put the limit at my times. Actually there are quite a few levels in the workshop where the time limit is really hard even for me but that means only a few can make it and that is stupid. But my times plus say 20% should be ok. Nothing wrong with some challenge. If everybody can easily do the time limit it becomes kind of meaningless. By the way, I am not the fastest player around, there are a few I cann't beat at LPT ;)

You're right, the first was a lot longer and harder, I planned it that way. The two levels in the middle are setups for the last in the series. It's ready to publish. It was actually the first one I came up with. When I realized how my levels had changed over time and a bit of nostalgia set in and I wanted to see if I could still do one the old way. Then the real problem set in, how to transition from old to new. Because, in the last one they will have to really start looking for the hidden things. But, I still have one problem, what to set the time limit to. What I think a normal player can complete it in or what I can complete it in. I do like getting five stars. There is one other option, set the limit to where only the very best can get five starts. The bad little boy in me wants to do this. But, I can hear the moaning and whaling now.

Better than NYOWAB 1 IMHO: somewhat shorter and more shortcuts. 15:34. Under 15 should be possible, under 14 probably not. Don't take me wrong, number 1 is also good ;)

thanks. not much for doing it fast, but I do often get it right firstt try, for some reason
