That's why I put tunnels in on the later levels. To prevent this problem. If the developers got off their butts and gave us the ability to protect track segments the way you can protect other objects we could prevent this from being a problem.
At the end of the game, sending some planes to the rightmost towns - the first went into the left one, which didn't accept it, so of course it spat it back out.
That's normal, yea? The ISSUE:
The second train was off the map, and the first train met it head on - off the map.
Which destroyed tracks.
Which can't be replaced.
Harsh man, harsh!
You're right, the first was a lot longer and harder, I planned it that way. The two levels in the middle are setups for the last in the series. It's ready to publish. It was actually the first one I came up with. When I realized how my levels had changed over time and a bit of nostalgia set in and I wanted to see if I could still do one the old way. Then the real problem set in, how to transition from old to new. Because, in the last one they will have to really start looking for the hidden things. But, I still have one problem, what to set the time limit to. What I think a normal player can complete it in or what I can complete it in. I do like getting five stars. There is one other option, set the limit to where only the very best can get five starts. The bad little boy in me wants to do this. But, I can hear the moaning and whaling now.
All I do is to try some left hand humor. How did Dangerfield put it. "I get no respect" and it goes over like a wet blanket.
You're one of the best players out there. You may not get it on the first try but you will the second.
What excess of materials. I took pity on everyone and took the Traditional MP out. All I get is nag, nag, nag, Oh, Boo Hoo poor me.
Thanks for the thumbs up.
I can't wait for the whaling and mashing of teeth when Number 4 is published. The time is even shorter and I believe sneakier.
I've spaced them out and had other problems crop up. So, this is the lesser of evils.
Difficulties are made to be conquered. Even with the gotcha's and excess demands of materials I love this one, mostly because there be so many of Strained's maps I failt o get 5 stars in... but this one I managed!
I just looked at the description and I did post as warning about the mountain.
First the mountain, It's only a bug if you haven't found the hidden feature. Yes, in both cases, you should wait to blow it up. When I've triggered the mountain early I've always been able to run a track through it without a problem
As for the station I don't center any station if I have them set up in pairs. It makes it easier to access them if you are zoomed out. You have been able to spawn two trains at any time resulting in a crash. As for locking the station, that's a new one for me. I have always been able to repair a crash.
* You have to buy the explody mountain after its tunnel, otherwise it lays a steep rail uphill, which blocks the way to iron, coal and polymers.
* The lower of the middle two worker stations isn't centered on the rail, I was able to spawn two worker trains at once, which exploded while both were in the station. I could then only rebuild one of them and culdn't use the other one for the rest of the level.
