FAQ

Q: Can I add it mid-playthrough to an existing save? Can I remove the mod?
A: You can add it whenever. You can't remove mods from a save and expect it not no be messed up.

Q: Does this need Biotech DLC, Alpha Animals / Biomes / etc
A: No

Q: Does this work with Combat Extended?
A: Compatibility with CE is handled on their end

Q: Will colonists auto-read these?
A: No, as they are all single use. Think of them as readable potions. Actually, don't, that sounds really stupid...

Q: Reeee this is bloat! I like my things that add things to add less things to the thing!!!
A: The thing wants things added to the thing. Sorry, out of my control.

how about making a monasstic faction, writing all these books and being the reason for abandoned libraries? Idk how hard that is but maybe, if you play with biotech and have a kid reaching the age of 9, u get the quest of sending your kid to them for 3 years and when it comes back its perfectly educated
i rly love this idea but idk how to make mods myself :I

Looks like Civil Settlers do, at least. If you want any value out of these, you're gonna have to go caravanning- traveling trade caravans aren't interested; only settlements are.

Does *anyone* buy ruined books, or does the higher price on excellent and legendary ones exist purely to bait players into inflating their wealth? I don't think I've ever seen a trader interested in them.

That's to be expected
