Arleigh Burke "Better" Loadout Mod


Adds 6 versions of Mitchell600's Arleigh Burke with NTU weapons.

Mitchell600's Arleigh Burke Mod and its requirements are needed.
nuclearstonk's NTU MOD is needed.

Load After: Anchor Chain , Arleigh Burke and New Threat Upgrade


!!! If the original Arleigh Burke Mod does not work/is not visible, this will not work either. !!!

S-70B-2 mod is required. FLT2A are without a Helo without it.

Adds the following ships/versions:


Flight I (1991) DDG-51 to DDG-71
  • Early design with Mk 41 VLS and Aegis SPY-1D radar.
  • 68 RIM-66M, 10 RGM-109B, 4 RGM-109C, 8 RGM-84D, 8 ASROC.

Flight I (Baseline 7) DDG-51 to DDG-71
  • Upgraded in 2005 with support for ESSM and SM-2 Block IV missiles.
  • 24 RIM-156, 36 RIM-66M-2/3, 40 ESSM (RIM-162A),12 RGM-109C, 8 RGM-84L, 4 ASROC.

Flight IIA (Baseline 7) DDG-85 to DDG-112
  • FLT-IIA added hangar and 2 helos. Baseline 7 introduced for ships built in 2001, ESSM introduced in 2004.
  • 28 RIM-156, 38 RIM-66M-2/3, 40 ESSM (RIM-162A), 12 RGM-109C, 8 ASROC.

Flight IIA (Baseline 9 / SM-6) DDG-113 to DDG-123
  • Baseline 9 with SM-6 integration and ESSM BLK2, introduced 2015.
  • 24 RIM-174 SM-6, 36 RIM-66M-5, 40 ESSM (RIM-162E), 12 RGM-109J, 8 ASROC.

Flight IIA (ASM fic.) DDG-79 to DDG-84
  • FLT-IIA with a fictional ASM loadout. VLS Harpoons(Never fielded) and TASM Retired in 1995-96)
  • 26 RIM-156, 36 RIM-66M-2/3, 32 ESSM (RIM-162A), 12 RGM-109B, 8 RGM-84L (VLS), 6 ASROC.

Flight III DDG-125 to DDG-147
  • 26 RIM-156, 36 RIM-66M-2/3, 32 ESSM (RIM-162A), 12 RGM-109B, 8 RGM-84L (VLS), 6 ASROC.


SM-6/ ESSM derived from nuclearstonk's RIM-156 and RIM-7vl (RIM-156 are way too good as they are basically SM-6s in their current state with a range of 250nmi instead of 180-190nmi)

@Tunguska In addition to the comments below please also fix the RGM-84 on the Flight I because the vanilla game has split them into different variants, but the RGM-84 is still the old one from before that happened. RGM-84D would be the one for early Burke Flight I.

I would also add the Baseline 7 FltIIA has offensive ECM but the Baseline 9 with SM6 doesnt (and its the one with the fugly cheeks)

Any chance we can getr a Burke Flight IIA variant with SM6 loadout same but not using the model with SEWIP block 3 - the chonky cheek sensors on the Burkes superstructure bow on? Its ugly and not all IIAs use it. Its also not even modeled in sensor package in game - it has same ESM suite as the other Burkes.

When I launch a missile from the VLS cells the ones at the bow open and the ones at the stern of the ship fire, fix please.

@Tunguska Hey man loving your mod, wanted to let you know that the FLT3 doesnt show up in the ship lists because the VARIANTS file for the FLT3 is set to 11 and should be set to 21; changing that fixes it easy

Seems to not only be isolated to NTU... Seems like texture issues but I am pretty green when it comes to those.

Exceptions point to a Material "Marmoset/Transparent/Cutout/Diffuse IBL with a variety of errors around different shaders... Hope that helps and maybe you could educate me on the reason for the error. Appreciate your hard work on this mod
