1177 AD: County of Tripoli

This is one of the factions of my 1177 AD Crusades Campaign.

The County of Tripoli was one of the four Crusader states founded in the Levant. It was created in the modern-day region of Tripoli, northern Lebanon and parts of western Syria.

Raymond III was named count of Tripoli in 1152, and faithfully served both Baldwin III and his son, Baldwin IV, in their campaigns against the Muslims.

This faction enjoys a decent start, having to decide on whether to take swiftly take Masyaf and march towards Damascus, or gather strength to engage its ambitious "allies" to the north.
