1177 AD: Knights Hospitaller

Description
This is one of the factions of my 1177 AD Crusades Campaign.

The Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem was founded in the crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem in the 12th century. The Order of Saint John was militarized in the 1120s and 1130s, hiring knights that later became Hospitallers.

Roger de Moulins was the eighth Grand Master of the Knights Hospitaller from 1177 until his death in 1187. He took part in the Battle of Cresson against Saladin near Nazareth on 1 May 1187, where he was killed by a spear wound.

The Knights Hospitaller has the hardest starting point in the campaign, with no initial expansion possible, and large monetary losses.
