1177 AD: Principality of Antioch

This is one of the factions of my 1177 AD Crusades Campaign.

The Principality of Antioch was one of the Crusader States created during the First Crusade. Most of the crusaders who settled there were of Norman origin, notably from the Norman Kingdom of southern Italy

Bohemond III of Antioch was Prince of Antioch from 1163 to 1201. Under his authority, the Armenian rulers of Cilicia were forced to accept his sovereignity, and he also secured the County of Tripoli for his second son.

This faction has a decent start, initially facing off with the Ayyubid forces at Aleppo. Eventually, expansion towards the south becomes viable.
