Terraria Origins

Description
Terraria Origins is a content mod that adds new ways of playing Terraria with content designed and balanced around the vanilla game. It is full of many alternative playstyles to complement the base game for you to enjoy. More content is planned in the future. Origins is currently in its Open Beta version, still including 1055 items, 148 NPCs, 269 tiles, 6 biomes and 5 bosses.
Additionally, there is a new explosive-themed Demolitionist class that has content throughout the entire game and is balanced with the other classes.

Origins' content adds alternatives for nearly all areas of gameplay reinforced by its two new world evils: the Defiled Wastelands and Riven Hive. The Corruption and Crimson also have content added to make them melee and ranger-focused respectively while the Defiled is magic-focused and Riven being summoner-focused. It will be hard to not find something new and fun in Origins, even in its current Beta state.

This mod does not include the music tracks composed for each of the biomes and bosses, but it still has the unique sound effects for some of the content. The music can be found from the Music Mod here: https://s.team/sf/3476640589
There is a configuration option to toggle between Volumes of the soundtrack.

Yes, if you want different behavior you can limit the number of biomes in your Alternatives library settings

does it work with best of both worlds meaning both of the new biomes generate aswell as with the corruption and crimson???

If this issue is not extremely seed-specific, your mods have changed world generation in such a way that it doesn't resemble vanilla world generation, the possible causes are that a mod has completely prevented vanilla jungle generation without accounting for modded jungle minibiomes, or that there existed a completely empty column of blocks from the surface to the bottom of the world.

during worldgen the game wont work with sots and (maybe?) best of both world i think the error said something about abandoned villages and evil biome flattening

I'm not sure why but when I re-enabled this mod after it was updated, my game started lagging pretty badly. I had some big mods and I disabled some of them, thorium, infernum, and spirit reforged, and that kinda helped but the lag persisted. When I disabled this, the performance issue was gone, even after I re-enabled the other mods. Is it possible you guys could make some optional additions to the mod configuration menu to make it less fps costly? I do like this mod

I can make the journal button move if Fargo's souls is enabled, but all I could do for the incompatibilities between Dialect and other mods is forward them to its developer.

also, bug that MIGHT be unfixable but i'll report it anyways, small visual incompatibility with terratcg mod when theres a quest from origins available, also minor visual overlapping bug with fargos souls effect toggler, maybe make the dialogue box bigger and make room for the tcg one via dialect if terratcg is installed, and if fargos souls is installed move the journal a bit to like the right maybe? i dont work on mods so you tell me if thats possible
