I'm not sure why but when I re-enabled this mod after it was updated, my game started lagging pretty badly. I had some big mods and I disabled some of them, thorium, infernum, and spirit reforged, and that kinda helped but the lag persisted. When I disabled this, the performance issue was gone, even after I re-enabled the other mods. Is it possible you guys could make some optional additions to the mod configuration menu to make it less fps costly? I do like this mod

I can make the journal button move if Fargo's souls is enabled, but all I could do for the incompatibilities between Dialect and other mods is forward them to its developer.

also, bug that MIGHT be unfixable but i'll report it anyways, small visual incompatibility with terratcg mod when theres a quest from origins available, also minor visual overlapping bug with fargos souls effect toggler, maybe make the dialogue box bigger and make room for the tcg one via dialect if terratcg is installed, and if fargos souls is installed move the journal a bit to like the right maybe? i dont work on mods so you tell me if thats possible

Terraria Origins v0.5.3.8 has been released, it does nothing but fix the Spooky Mod incompatibility and any other incompatibilities that may have been caused by NPCs that can sometimes be talked with.

I can't say with any certainty what it is without any information, just that I can run it without issues on the October 1st 2025 release of tML.

Unless there's been a day one patch to the October version the issue you're experiencing is almost definitely unrelated to the tML version and actually an incompatibility with another mod.

As in things other than non-stackable equipment (which normally has a research requirement of 1)?
It's definitely on the older side of things and very mundane looking in the retro and trippy lighting modes, so I'll look into giving it a bit more polish in the next update.

on the note of the fiberglass stuff, i also think a lot of the fiberglass stuff doesn't have journey mode info, which makes it default to only needing 1 of a few things, unless that has been fixed since i started my most recent playthrough, but also in general yeah it seems very outdated, like I came here to check for other things but genuinely i thought it was an entirely different mod that had the fiberglass mini-biome because it feels much lower quality than the rest of the mod

@LousyAlien actually Fargo's best of both world is the only way i found to make a bigger world with advanced world gen so yea it doesnt just work he fixe some gen issu

The setting to generate both world evils generates them exactly as if you were using the drunk seed, which is fully supported.

The legs do in fact currently deal contact damage, all things considered the boss is probably a bit overdue for an update, since it's possibly one of the oldest things in the mod.
Okay looking back at the Fiberglass Weaver. The hitbox is VERY inconsistent. It reaches me further than it should, and sometimes hits me on the body itself. I don't know if you gave the LEGS contact damage hitboxes but. If they do? Please remove it. Only the body should deal contact damage. Makes the boss hitbox bigger than it should when it traps you in a small space

The balance for the Lost Diver may have been affected by us testing it so much we got used to its difficulty, we'll have to test if that's it or if we just balanced it around flipper potions (iirc those improve horizontal speed in water too)
Also, add one more attack to the fiberglass weaver, feels very underwhelming, and nerf the hitbox a little. Feels too big at times. Especially considering how small the fiberglass mini-biome is.

Besides that. I actually loved the Shimmer Construct. Unique summon method, and unique final phase. Wasn't expecting to fall down the world trying to avoid the attacks while fighting it. Kinda fun to fight ngl.

Haven't tried out the two new evil alts yet. I will speak more about my experience playing this mod when I have tried both out next.
Boss checklist says the Lost Diver is pre-mechs but it feels anything BUT that. Let alone the fact you can't even get into the brine pools without a pickaxe greater than titanium. Plus it feels way too difficult for a boss that is completely underwater with limited mobility. Feels WAY too overtuned for what is said to be its progression. If it isn't pre-mechs. Then you should really have checklist state that. And, make it a little less punishing for the lacking movement cause the biome literally forces it anyway. So far that is about my biggest complaint.

Any mod which removes all vanilla world generation and replaces it with its own world generation placed after the vanilla gen will be incompatible with almost every mod that adds any world generation.

Had a problem with world generation during the "Fiberglass Undergrowth" part, it seems to be colliding with AdvancedWorldGen? could there be a fix?

That would probably have been before the Exxo Avalon Origins update that added Alternatives Library support, in which case I suppose there has been a compatibility patch made;
I was under the impression that you were just guessing they were incompatible because it's a perfectly reasonable thing to guess, rather than going off of outdated experience.

The drunk seed or Fargo's Best of Both Worlds can be used to put all of the evil biomes from vanilla and Terraria Origins (plus other mods that work with Alternatives Library, such as Exxo Avalon Origins) in one world, it is not recommended to do this with a small world as it is likely to result in a very cramped world.

I believe there's currently a bug weighting enemy spawns which are in the riven hive but not on riven blocks excessively towards the biome's mimic and enchanted weapon enemies, it will be fixed shortly.
i got to hardmode recently and i've noticed that riven mimics specifically spawn a bit too frequently. to the point of having 2 of them just chilling next to each other when im in the riven underground. im wondering if the spawn rates had been accidentally pumped up way too high or if its some other mod causing this
