Chapter Overhaul: Forget About Freeman

This mod REQUIRES Black Mesa Character Expansion to function properly!

An unofficial fanmade modification and enhancement to Forget About Freeman which features BMCE Staff.

Major Changes and Features
  • BMCE Staff varieties - Office workers, maintenance staff, etc. both human and zombified are featured.
  • Features from FAF Classic - Since this mod is based on maps from Classic FAF, all features from FAF Classic are featured in this mod as well.

    Installation Guide
    Similarly to Revised, this mod features custom models and manifest which is needed for replacement.
    1.Subscribe to the mod
    2.Create 'custom' folder in 'steamapps\common\Black Mesa\bms' file (Ignore if already created)
    3.Drop either '1_BMCEFAF' or '1_BMCERFAF' whichever you use, in the custom file. (Note: If you are using BMCE:R, this is completely optional but the file is still present in case you want to use my manifest which included female paramedic)
    Note: In case if the mod isn't function properly, check if your other mod is conflicting the file. If not, try reinstalling the mod or verify game cache.

    Things to note
  • This is probably an issue on my end only but there's a bug where the guard at the beginning of FAF glitches out. If you experiences this, report ASAP.
  • Don't forget to check out the original BMS Classic!

@StitchyBOI I'm very uncertain on this issue since I'm not skilled in the graphical or technical aspects of mapping, I'm afraid I may have to skip over this issue for the time being

@WinterTheBeau I'm sorry, I have absolutely no idea what could be the cause of this issue, let alone trying to fix it since I am no longer in the position to fix anymore due to a technical issue with my PC

hey do during the fight with the tank, apc, and a bunch of soldiers just outside the lambda complex elevators, i died and tried to respawn, but the game crashed. i tried reloading the last autosave, but the game crashed again. i had a similar issue with a lambda core overhaul mod, where one of the maps contained ragdolls with corrupted models.

I was playing FAF using your mod and I got stuck at the last part, the gate at the bunker that's supposed to be open remained shut making me get soft-locked, I tried restarting the chapter but the issue was still there
