GlowLib 1.2 is here!
Featuring a New Creation Menu and Edit Menu (not new, but ehh) and a Few Color Edits.

GlowLib Supports Should be put under garrysmod/lua/autorun/glowlib_creations
File name MUST start with sh_ and end with .lua (sh_glowlib_modelname_support.lua)

Creation Menu is Accessible with cl_glowlib_creationmenu or holding C and right clicking on an entity without GlowLib Support.

Edit Menu is accessible by holding C and right clicking on an entity with already GlowLib Support.

What is GlowLib ?
GlowLib is an Open-Source [github.com] glow system, that adds similar to Entropy : Zero 2 Eye Glowing Effect.

List of Default Supported GlowLib Models/Entities
  • Combine Soldiers (+PMs)
  • Combine Scanners
  • Combine Hunters
  • Combine Terminals (Interfaces)
  • Dog
  • Vortigaunts
  • Cavern Antlion Guardian
  • Antlion Grubs
  • Health and Armor Chargers (+Items)

Console Commands:
  • sv_glowlib_enabled :: number ( 0 - 1 )
  • sv_glowlib_remove_on_death :: number ( 0 - 1 ) (Works only with "Keep Corpses" set on)

  • cl_glowlib_creationmenu
  • cl_glowlib_enabled :: number ( 0 - 1 )
  • cl_glowlib_remove_on_death :: number ( 0 - 1 ) (Works only with "Keep Corpses" set on)
  • cl_glowlib_toggle_3d2d (Look at an entity that ALREADY has Glowing Eye(s) to see their position.)
  • cl_glowlib_print_attachments (Look at an entity before using, useful for getting attachments.)
  • cl_glowlib_print_bodygroups (Look at an entity before using, useful for getting body groups.)
  • cl_glowlib_print_children (Look at an entity before using, useful for getting children.)
  • cl_glowlib_print_bones (Look at an entity before using, useful for getting the bones of the entity.)
  • cl_glowlib_set_attachment_pos (Make the 3D2D text appear on where the provided attachment is located on the model)
  • cl_glowlib_toggle_show_attachment_pos (Toggle the 3D2D for Attachment Pos)

IIRC it was caused by another tool that called like "multi-parent" or smth

i keep having an issue where the glow effects duplicate themselves over each other continuously, which causes massive frame drops and blinding glowing, has anyone else been struggling with this?
