1.Vanilla treats different arrow types as different units. I usually like to follow vanilla style
2. I can test the units very easily in custom battles
3. The warband upgrade system is more versatile to me both as a player and as a modder, plus I already had the framework done in other mods
4. I have no intention to click on each unit to upgrade it when I can just recruit the ammo type I want. I don't keep changing the ammo type especially in endgame
