Description
Summoning

Add a skill tree that allows you to learn 16 different types of useful summoning spells and 5 craftable companions.


Skill Tree


  • Summon Chicken:
    Summons two chickens, which are weak but effective to the extent of stalling the enemy.
  • Chicken Explosion:
    Explode target friendly chicken dealing 20-30 nature damage in 2 tiles around the selected target.
  • Summon Wolves:
    Summons three aggressive wolves.
  • Wall of Red Ivies:
    Summons a wall of magical temporary Red ivies that roots passersby in their tracks for a short while.
  • Summon Big Spider:
    Summons a Big spider that spits venom and weakens the enemy with its web.
  • Summon Thorn Spitter:
    Summons a Thorn Spitter from the normal bush.
  • Summon Assasin Worm:
    Summons an assasin worm of terror, created to silently creep from the shadows and assassinate its enemies.
  • Summon Ferocious Bear:
    Summons a fierce and brave bear.
  • Strengthen ally:
    Increases all stats of the target creature by 12 for a certain period of time and clears target's CD.
  • Summon Wisp:
    Consumes a non animated corpse at the target location to summons wisp for aid you in combat.
  • Summon Army of Eagles:
    Summon a large number of eagles around you and fold up the enemy.
  • Summon Animated Scarecrow:
    Transform the training dummy into an animated scarecrow and spread fear to your opponents.
  • Sense Magic Beings:
    See the presence of all magic beings in a 20 tiles radius around you.
  • Emergency Recovery:
    Clears the cool down of all skills except this skill and regain 100 Stamina.
  • Summon Demon Book:
    Transform the unwritten book in your inventory into a Demon Book that can cast a variety of spells and suppresses all enemies and allies with a large amount of magic.
  • Summon Manticore:
    Summons a Manticore. A curious creature with humanoid head, dragon wings and scorpio's tail.

Craftable Companions
  • Swamp Guardian
    It is a tall fish-like creature walking on two long legs.
  • Macehand
    Macehand was created using black magic. Instead of one hand, he has a club that can deal a lot of damage.
  • Cyclone Wyrm
    A beautiful wyrm seemingly made out of pearly substance.
  • Little Medusa
    (2.5x weaker version of original)A beautiful girl with deadly snakes in place of hair.
  • Gryphon Jr.
    (2.5x weaker version of original)A beautiful creature with cub of lion's body and head and wings of an eagle.



How to level up/increase potentials
Level:0
Initially, Gathering fruits from the trees and bushes to level up 0 to 1.

Level1-10
Casting summoning spells gradually increases their level.

Level 11- 50
resources and papers can be used to create a ritual paper that increases the maximum potential value from the crafting menu.

I find the mod enjoyable, my only issues is the incredible long casting time on some of the abilities. Example of this is summon wolves(feels kinda long for such a minor summon), big spider, demon book, scarecrow and manticore. Other than that I really enjoy this mod. Has become a part of my main mods. Running the chicken summon with cooldown reduction and targeted spells quickly becomes a massive, love it.

The gathering action gives summoning experience. Searching for berries and firewood leveled me up pretty fast...

summon manticore was changed the duration 1800 to 600.
also acid spit was replaced with sprint and rend.

Acid spit has no cooldown...so it just tries and spam acid spit without engaging. I deleted acid spit and replaced with poisonous bite and furious attack.

Its was the cooldown. The first thing to check was lowering the cd from 1800 to 50. The game engine wont tolerate 1800.

However, another problem has arisen. The manticore AI is not set up correctly. Ive used it 5 times now and it will simply *never* engage on anything..In point of fact, it flees battle as fast as it can.

Or i should say, its incorrect as to the behavior the manticore exhibits in game.

Yes, the duration can be lengthened with an amplifier.
However, it only has a duration of 2-3 seconds (lol).

I'll change it to something different when I have time.

Manticore summoning is buggy? I'll look into it a bit. If I can fix it, I will.

Hiya! So...Summon Manticore seems to keep going on cooldown for no discernible reason that im able to see via the files. If you could examine the code to figure a fix, could you paste it here? I can input any change manually. Thank you!

Is there a way to increase duration of some of the summons? Can I just change/modify the 'duration' in the .json files under the /abilities folder without it crashing the game?
