We'z Speshul - Da Howlerz
This is a campaign expansion mod for the Greenskins that includes Da Howlerz faction and Legendary Lord Gitilla Da Hunter based on The Orcs & Goblins army book.

Features

I recently replayed it with Greenskins Expanded Hero Skill Trees by maffers and BUU: "Band-Aids" for Underutilized Units by standardheadache, and the wolf units were much more useful as skirmisher hit-and-run units in Gitila's hands, with two Goblin Big-Bosses helping either Chariots or Wolf Riders excel at different things.

I agree with you for the most part, some redesign is in order but I don't know what that looks like yet as the upgrades to wolves are already quite considerable.

I love the theme and aethestics of this faction, and Gitilla is an amazing gobbo lore-wise, but the mechanics of using Wolf Riders unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. The low mass makes charging rough, even with bonuses, and the lack of armor piercing makes going against the Chorfs, other Greenskins, the Dwarfs, etc. very rough. Without some sort of ability to super-giga boost the Wolf Riders like how Grom boosts Pump Chariots and other Gobs, Gitilla unfortunately can't compete at all with any faction past the early game.

Moon Howlerz is not the key for this mods faction just to be clear so I don't think that is actually anything to do with us but I'll check it.

My log shows that during the turn processing for the Green Skin faction 'Da Howlerz' (wh3_main_grn_moon_howlerz / Moon Howlerz), there was an immediate call to create_agent(). This faction attempted to create a Skaven Warlord (wh2_main_skv_warlord). This is an absolutely abnormal cross-faction/cross-race character creation.

The mod should not be doing anything to break that, I'll have to have a chat with Mixu about it as it might be something deeper.

Yeah we are aware there are some annoy bugs with the way horde stance works, it's band-aided on because the default Greenskin Raid stance does not seem to work for him.

The horde system we set up has presented a few problems as updates has happened I think we may have to rethink the approach to this mod in future, a whole rewrite will take some time though.

@Lost2Insanity, I am also running into the issue where my Waagh points are stuck at 50 and it never increases. I have checked multiple mods but this is the only Greenskin mod that I use, was the issue added back in with the latest update?

Edit: I've played with wurrzag when writing my other comment and got gitilla through the 'recruit defeated legendary lords' mod. if aquired that way gitilla doesn't have raiding stance.

if you start as gitilla you have raiding stance available on him

no raiding stance on a raiding lord? (I really hoped he could safe my economy until I noticed that)

very fun to field with confederated Skarsnik, Grom and researched Raknik Spiderclaw for all da gobbo cav supporting named lords

Great mod! I think its little bit pitty that you have to take settlements in order to get some troops and to stop your waaagh from dying. I think it would be great to make for Gitilla simple horde system just like it is made in Blackskullz Horde by Mortrau. According to lore Gitilla never stayed for too long on one place so I think being just nomad, raiding and killing without taking care whats left behind is more fitting.
