What is RIMSPR? Well, it's a lot like CRISPR but instead of standing for Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats, it stands for something else entirely.

With the RIMSPR lab, no more will you be subject to the fickle whims of Randy in your quest to design the perfect xenotype. Now you can select any gene you desire and your researchers will work to isolate and manufacture a genepack for that specific gene, and all it will cost you is some neutroamine, a ton of chemfuel, your colony’s entire food stockpile, and a few years of your researcher’s life!

@Ev It should be a mod conflict, you should try to find another mod that changes the room definition.

If you search for the string workTableRoomRole and Laboratory in this mod, there's only one occurance in Building_rimsprLab.xml showing: <workTableRoomRole>Laboratory</workTableRoomRole>

And you can search for the same string in the RimWorld folder, you can see vanilla buildings are also using: <workTableRoomRole>Laboratory</workTableRoomRole> to define the room type. I couldn't find any reason for it to be "Laboratory Room" instead of "Laboratory".

The only reason I can think of is some other mod patched some buildings that has Laboratory as workTableRoomRole to their own definition or There are some other interesting magic happening there.

I'm having the same issue where when I build it, it redefines the room from "Laboratory" to "Laboratory Room" which gives it a production penalty. Though I'm also running other mods so I can't rule out a conflict, but it's very odd.

@Reddeq Can't reproduce that. In my case, it's using the vanilla laboratory room. Have you tried it in a clean environment? Maybe it's a mod conflict?

Found small "bug". Seems like RIMSPR lab makes its own Laboratory room and not vanilla Laboratory and suffers 20% speed penalty because of that. Placing research table not helping

Works just fine on my modlist which has almost 450 mods. Though I do wish it had the ability to connect to all the networks, not just the chemfuel one.

Please tell me whether it's working well. I did a simple test locally, but I rarely played it with the pipe system so not sure whether everything works fine.
