I also know there can be "mod_warning"s, but that just means that you don't have all the supported mods installed, my mod still works fine!!

Interesting, thank you

From what I saw [i.imgur.com] there's 3 issues:
- the wheel collider is rather small that even the wheel sinks into the ground.
- the track segment has details poking outwards.
- my algorithm is not great.

You can add a "track_collider" dummy in the track segment model to override its boundingbox, make it around the center solid bit without including the bits that poke out, to let them sink into the ground.

As for my algorithm, it's a shrink wrap over the wheels and often when the middle wheels are not outwards enough to be "caught" by that web, then they in-between bits are free to collide with the ground, which with enough things (big track segment box, small wheel physics) it will go higher into the wheel than it would otherwise do if it were caught by the shrinkwrap. It's complicated to fix and not sure if I'm ever going to tackle that =) Easier to tweak the other two points to reduce the clipping to not be as obvious.

Alright, I actually asked Digi and the most likely reason why the wheels are clipping through is because the Physical Colliders are putting the wheels way too close to the ground. That's probably stopping the tracks from aligning with the wheels as the tracks won't go below the voxels. I just tested by turning off Ground Collisions in your mod and it works fine because now the tracks can go underneath the voxels to wrap around the wheels.

So, you may want to inform the modder of KGS that they'll need to tweak that for it to work properly with this mod.

You'd have to ask Digi, he's the one that made the Track Framework, I simply added a couple of models!

Instead of trying to make your tracks a certain width, maybe you could try to add a feature in your new update where players can manually adjust the width, length and thickness of their tracks? Similar to what you can do in Sprocket. Then there would be no need to bother with getting IRL dimensions for your tracks in the next update. :D

Oh, wait, don't get me wrong! I love this mod, it's fantastic. All the tracks work perfectly with the AWG wheels, it's just these new T-80 wheels in KGS have clipping issues. It's a very new update so it's to be expected. I just figured to give you some heads up.

The new update sounds like it'll be quite amazing, though! As for dimensions, I've already figured out how to adjust the tracks myself and have the exact dimensions I want for the tracks. It's really nice that your mod has an in-game real time reload function so I could observe every new change without having to reload the world!

I've already created 630mm tracks, which are the exact width of real life modern tanks such as the M1 Abrams, Leopard 2, K2 Black Panther, Leclerc T-14 Armata and so on.

I know there are many issues with this mod, I intend to do a V2 update by starting anew (fixing these issues and getting irl-accurate dimensions). However this will take a lot of time and I already have many things planned before this update!
This mod was a silly little thing I made in a rush because we finally had animated tracks in Space Engineers, I never expected it to blow up like it did, so please bear with me until I get this update out

Hello, I see you've made an update so this mod works with the new KGS T-80 roadwheels. I just wanted to let you know that the wheels still "clip" through the tracks and don't seem to move seamlessly with the tracks over terrain.

Hi! How do I select a track? They are in my screen, but I can only select wheels then Finalize track. How to switch to another model of tracks, which key?
