Ratkin Faction:Oberonia Aurea

This Mod is a faction expansion of the NewRatkinPlus, thus requires the NewRatkinPlus as dependency.
This Mod also requires Royalty as dependency, and is compatible with Ideology, Biotech and Combat Extended (not completely at this moment).
The strength of this Mod is higher than the vanilla environment, and to be exact, is slightly higher than Ratkin Weapon+ (In a vanilla not CE environment).

This module builds upon the Ratkin base mod, introducing an interstellar Ratkin empire from outside the Milky Way: the Oberonia Aurea Empire.
Contents of this module include:
1 new Ratkin faction with unique raid tactics and a honor system.
3 new crops, 25 new range weapons, 9 new melee weapons, 29 accessories and headgears, 35 pieces of apparel and coats, 23 buildings each with distinct functions, and 27 Ratkin technologies.
2 new ideology memes and 4 precepts, and 3 new Xenotypes.
229 Oberonia Aurea-specific background stories and 2 Oberonia Aurea storytellers.
7 new events and associated quests.

Q&A:
Q: Are there any Ratkin power amors?
A:Good question, after the first major update of the Oberonia Aurea, now there are.

Q: What's so fancy about the weapons of this Mod?
A: The weapons are characterized by high armor penetration. The unstable charge/heavy weapons are featuring high damage, and the technical officer associated weapons are featuring the EMP added effects.

Q: How strong are the weapons?
A: For reference, the weapon strength is based on the Ratkin Assault Rifle from the Ratkin Weapon+. It is above vanilla levels but manageable.

Q: Can it be integrated into a vanilla environment?
A: In most cases, yes, because there are no mandatory hostile factions. It's especially preferred when you want to use this mod to balance out some other slightly challenging mods.

Q: Are there any new vehicles?
A: Not in the Oberonia Aurea core, but the planned Oberonia Aurea: Peace Through War expansion will update the vehicle aspect.

Q: Can I add it to an existing save?
A: Generally, it should not pose any major problems.

Q: CE?
A: compatible.

Q: What are the initial faction relations with the O.A.?
A: Neutral at start, but if you want to start a fight, you can, and if it gets tough, just drop a gift by a cargo pod.

Q: Are there any exclusive quests?
A: Good question again, after the first major update of the Oberonia Aurea, now there are (although only one).

Q: Are there new Xenotypes?
A: There are 3 new Xenotypes based on the designs from NewratkinPlus.

Q: How is the compatibility?
A: Generally, there shouldn't be any major issues. (minor bugs are inevitable and I will try my best to avoid major bugs)

Q: Why are the hired gunmen in the mission camels?

A: Originating from the Real Faction Guset mod conflict, but since the impact is limited to the hired gunner becoming a camel in the Golden Iris mission, and there are no other malicious bugs, there is no specific indication of incompatibility.

Q: Why can't I open the game after updating this mod?

A: You need to delete the Config file in Ludeon Studios \ RimWorld by Ludeon Studios. This file is the preset for mods, and some optimized mods may conflict with the preset after other mods are updated, resulting in the inability to open the game.

Please note that before deleting the Ludeon Studios \ RimWorld by Ludeon Studios \ Config file, please make a backup and record your mod settings. This file is the mod settings, and deleting it will require readjusting a series of mod presets. And deleting this file is not a panacea, sometimes the problem is not here, it is just the higher possibility among many possibilities, please consider it carefully.

Tokens of friendship from the Oberonia Aurea supply ship:
Triggers occasionally after the player allied with Oberonia Aurea, the Oberonia Aurea supply ships will airdrop some berries.

Oberonia Aurea multilateral talks:
Can trigger anytime, will not result in catastrophic failure if negotiation ability reaches certain level; and will receive Oberonia Aurea honors if the result is a success.

Oberonia Aurea diplomatic mediation:
Trigger when the player allied with Oberonia Aurea, and the hostile faction is neutral with Oberonia Aurea. Will have no adverse effects if the quest is ignored and will definitely improve the relationship with the hostile faction if the player joined the diplomatic meeting.

Golden Iris Orchid Science Research Summit Event:
There is a probability of triggering at any time, and depending on the research speed, there is a probability of obtaining different outcomes, with a total of 10 derivative outcomes and related events.

Golden Iris Orchid Traveler Seeks Help:
There is a probability of triggering at any time, and if accepted, 2-3 faraway travelers will come to temporarily stay, including one who is permanently injured.

Golden Iris Orchid Punishment Execution:
Triggered when there are permanent hostile forces, a outpost will appear and retaliatory attacks will occur after defeating the outpost, but fortunately, the Golden Iris Orchid will provide a targeting device.

Golden Iris Orchid Town Construction Support:
There is a probability of triggering one year after the start of the game, and a certain number of stone bricks need to be delivered to a certain stronghold. The stone bricks can be of different types and can be delivered in batches.

A little words from the creator:

To be honest, Oberonia Aurea is my first Mod. Due to my limited experience and tech knowledges, there can be some weird Bugs and I apologize in advance.
The Oberonia Aurea project took 38 days and 38 exhausting days they were… I am thinking about how to progress the object everyday and fortunately by some miracle the project was able to complete.
Sit with me, have some flower tea, enjoy the scenery, listen to the cicadas sing and have a short rest between the irises bushes.

我这边是有两个任务是这样,分别是“受创的远行者们”和“负伤的探险家们”。
其中第二个任务我接受了,来的人跟再之前做过的叫“受创的旅行者们”类似,都是一队金鼠其中一个有受伤状态,只是后者的文本是完整的,而前者是代码和中文混杂的形式。

我想问一下加了城市mod以后金鼠派系发的白银押运任务让我去一个城市拿17157白银送到很远的另一个城市,但是我试了很多办法都不能领到白银,我以为它应该是和贸易任务一样远行队在城外就能点新出现的按钮领取银子到目的地再点一下就完成,但是我在外面试了直升机,穿梭机,陆地载具车队,普通步行远行队,在城外和进入城市都不能领取白银,直接去城市里找到然后拾取又会和没任务一样扣好感度,不知道是不是我这mod冲突问题,因为一条红字黄字都没有:steamfacepalm:能不能给任务多加点指引或者至少告诉我这个任务咋整呗,要是冲突问题也至少让我知道这任务能做呗:steamhappy:不然百分百20天后直接全球敌对的勾石陷阱任务可太草了,实在是令人爱鼠欲望暴涨啊,已经给可恶的坏旅鼠联邦送了三发温暖的高档量火把取暖用了:steammocking:
