Solland: Faction Overhaul

Açıklama
"When the hammer blow of the Ironclaw fell on Averland, Eldred von Heugenloewd, Count of Solland, was quick to marshal his forces despite his marginalized position at the Imperial court."

This mod adds a completely new faction, Solland, with this mod's main attraction: Count Eldred von Heugonloewd, the Elector Count of Solland.

FEATURES
  • Sun of the South – 1 new Faction, 1 Legendary Lord, 1 Legendary Hero, 1 new RoR(ish), and 2 new units
  • 1 new landmark and 1 new building chain
  • Reskin for the Eldred's Guard
  • Custom Mechanics
    • The Count vs. Da Leader - Count Eldred holds a deep grudge against Gorbad Ironclaw due to his destruction of Solland. Gain bonuses on either economy or battle depending on the state of either Solland or Ironclaw.
    • Empire Politics - Kinda. Mostly works, except for Reinstating (IE)

PLEASE READ
  • This mod is balanced for vanilla gameplay. It aims to insert itself into vanilla campaigns as seamlessly as possible.
  • The extra effects that are not featured on the starting trait and the faction effects are the bonuses that come with being the Elector Count of Solland.
  • You must finish the quest chain/battle to reclaim the Crown of Solland to unlock it. (AI automatically gets it at lvl 15)
  • Gorbad does not have access to the Rivalry mechanic. Solland was only in the way of his Waagh!
  • The meter will disappear once Gorbad Ironclaw and his faction are destroyed.
  • Reinstating this elector/faction will not work in IE. I've tried everything I could and it just won't work, as I suspect there will be some changed needed in the startpos for it to work. Please don't bother Mixu or anyone to ask about this.
  • However, I highly recommend to play this faction in The Old World, as all Empire Politics mechanics will work there.

you can confirm if its really this mod if you try and test it with just this mod, mixer, small utility mods and see if it still happens, as it seems like youre the only one who has reported this so far

I don't think so. I play with Sigmar's Heirs, but I don't believe that edits the politics system since they revamped it a few patches ago.

Also noticed that doing any 'unify' options when Solland or Sylvania are at 10 fealty causes them to automatically drop to zero and declare a civil war the next turn.

There's a weird interaction between recruit defeated legendary lords and your mod. whenever I accept refugees when Soland or the Sylvania overhaul mod factions get eliminated, my reliability sinks to Very Low despite no other actions being taken. Also, those factions fealty tends to drop to zero seemingly at random (I suspect its an integer overflow or something, because it usually happens when they have very high fealty) causing a declaration of war.

multiplayer is fickle like that i guess, it also depends on your modlist. its 99% not a mod conflict, but a script break

i just realised all the Mixu elector counts are missing as well so it might not be an issue with your mods
