Welcome to the world of Evolving Traits
This mod allows you to get really ripped in PZ and see an actual character progression besides getting your skills from lvl 0 to lvl10. You'll be able to purge the majority of negative traits and earn a lot of positive ones (but also earn some negative ones as well). This would help you to go from your average Joe to actual GigaChad in-game. You repair a lot of cars? You get better at it. You train yourself to take long-range kills with proper rifles? Why wouldn't it warranty getting Eagle-Eyed? You pick up thousands of plants through your lifetime and still can't call yourself Herbalist? Yea, that doesn't sound right to me. You maintain great sleeping schedule but for some reason you still need same amount of sleep as when you were sleeping whenever? Not anymore. Welcome to the Dynamic Traits World, ladies and gentlemen!

Features
  • NEW! UI with all the mod information in-game! Default hotkey is "["
  • 70+ dynamic traits (vanilla + added by the mod), full list on this spreadsheet[docs.google.com].
  • FULL sandbox customization. Choose which perks you want to be dynamic, choose how fast you get them, choose how fast you lose them, customize anything with more than 150 sandbox options. Nothing is forced upon player, if you like 1% of the mod, you can literally set it up so you get to use that 1% and nothing else.
  • Advanced systems that affect a lot of traits. Affinity system, that allows you to stick to your starting traits better. Delayed traits system, that allows you to get/remove traits with random delay.
  • QOL (Quality of Life) submod - mark all traits that are dynamic so in character creating you can see which perks are obtainable during gameplay! Can be enabled without enabling main mod, so if you don't like main features added by this mod and just want to see which traits are dynamic in your game with SOTO/MST/MT/DT - you can do that.
  • For new traits (aka not vanilla game), customization is also present. Want Hoarder perk to give you more carry weight per point of STR? Go adjust it in Sandbox. Want to be even happier under rain with Pluviophile? Sandbox it is.
  • Client-sided configuration available with Mod Options.
  • Don't like some/all traits added by this mod but only want to have vanilla traits dynamic? Also possible, with help of Evolving Traits World (ETW) - Disable Selected Traits.

Also for the future, why are you guys coming here with comments that OTHER mod is broken? Please go tell that mod author about it, not me KEKW
MusicManiac  [author] 8 Oct @ 8:03am
@WisCompton
I can't. Until it's fixed (which it will be, as the author is an active modder who maintains their mod) you can set all kills requirements to 0 so only levels are required.

can you remove the required killcount mod for b42? it is currently broken and makes using your mod impossible as none of the kills actually get counted towards the dynamic skills
Toto 6 Oct @ 2:09pm
thanks alot

@Toto
Things that have in name (build 41) you don't need.
P.S.: even if you sub to b41-only mods they wont even show up in your b42 game so don't worry.
@Coriux
Ye, my bad, check spreadsheet link in description. It's mostly outdated but those 2 traits are described in systems. I do plan to eventually add something there but it's on the backlog.

I noticed through gameplay that this mod makes high thirst / hearty appetite developable. But there's nothing in the ETW menu that mentions how the mod decides when these traits are gained/lost. Where can I find this information?
Toto 5 Oct @ 10:47am
I'm a little confused. Do I need lib for b42? Does that only apply to b41? Or also to b42? So do I only need KillCount and Moodle Framework for b42? And does it work with Soto?

Be outside with decent mental stats (except panic, panic doesnt count for it)

Question related to Agorophobia.

What is the main method of recovering from acquiring the trait?

魔法怎么失灵了?
"Getting error" doesn't say anything. Report the error on the mod page, so it can be fixed. As for your question, yes it is required
