Opis
Meltdown Update Status: Usable
This mod will load and function in Cosmoteer v0.30.0 (the meltdown update). However, the mod does not meaningfully interact with or make use of new mechanics introduced in Meltdown.

Description
Adds a modular missile system, allowing players to build more powerful missile systems. Inspired by From The Depths missile system.

Features
Modular Missile System
An alternative to the vanilla missile launcher, the modular missile system in its base state is identical to its vanilla counterpart. But the player can add segments to the launcher to make their missiles longer and stronger.
Available segments are:
  • Payload - Increases damage, slightly decreases acceleration, turn rate, and range.
  • Engine - Increases acceleration
  • Maneuvering - Increases turn rate
  • Fuel Tank - Increases range
Player can also choose the launcher type to determine how the missile navigates toward its target when launched.
Available launchers are:
  • Missile - Similar to vanilla HE and EMP missiles.
  • Torpedo - Similar to vanilla Nuke missiles.
The mod also adds a few new types of missiles.
Available new missile types are:
  • HEAT Missiles - Spawn fragments behind several meters of armor to directly impact internals.
  • Frag Missiles - Spawns damaging fragments on impact.
  • Electroshock Missiles - Creates a lingering field that lasts for several seconds, continuously draining energy from everything inside the field.

Modular Mine System
Base on the vanilla mine launcher, the modular mine launcher allows players to augment their mines with addons.
Available addons are:
  • Payload - Increases damage of shrapnels
  • Shrapnel count - Increases number of shrapnels spawned when mine detonates
  • Regulator - Increases amount of time the mine stays on the field
  • Health - Increases durability of the mine
  • IFF - Has special effects relating to friendly fire. See ingame tooltip for details.

Modular Missiles + Magnetic Mines compatibility patch.
Modular Missiles + Extended Tech Tree Mod (WIP) crossover mod that allows modular missiles to use advanced missiles from ETTM.

I haven't been able to get this mod to work for me for ages. But it's because of some weird compatibility issues with Jani's PVP Visibilty mod. Unfortunately (and especially in PVP) the QoL sprite changes from Jani's mod are more essential than this .. and even more so because you can't get/unlock these in Build and Battle mode (no tech option for that mode exists, and they are not part of the whitelist)

Can you check that the mod is version 1.7.6 and game is version 0.30.1b? The mod loads and runs correctly for me. If the mod version is older, unsub and resub to force an update.

If anyone else is able or unable to get the mod to load, chime in as well. I'm trying to determine if something weird is happening on my end, or if it's because some user's mods are outdated. Steam sometimes doesn't update workshop content that quickly, leading to outdated mods.

Sorry Hotfix 0.30.1a Patch Notes tried to patch up mods again and only caused this mod to crash.

Yup sorry for the delay, I was out of town for the past few days.
Should be fixed for the sound update (v0.30.1) now. Though the updated mod will break on Cosmoteer v0.30.0.
If there's need for a v0.30.0 compatible version let me know. This fix was pretty rushed and doing just the bare minimum; once I get the rest of my mods to stop crashing I can make some adjustments to make the mod work on both 0.30.0 and 0.30.1.
