解説
DAMNED NATIONS

The Duke's Damned Nations is a complete overhaul mod that changes many many aspects of the game, from a complete battle rework, to campaign redesign, ai tweaks, multiplayer game mode changes, new models and units, altered vfx, projectile trails, you name it, everything is within the purview of the mod. In TWW2 it was known as The End Times, but has undergone many changes and has a new name and shiny icon.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Longer, bloodier battles, harsher campaigns, hundreds of new units and a whole new balancing approach as well as a custom faction, Skeggi, with a focus on Realism in Fantasy.

REALISM IN FANTASY

While many will see this as a contradiction, this is the key approach of The Duke's Damned Nations - treat the world as if it were real, and make it play accordingly. Accepting that all the magic, monsters and mayhem of the world is real, how do they act? How do you face the endless tide of the undead, the mighty power of the greenskins or the relentless rage of the daemonic hordes? The mod gives my interpretation of a realistic take on the world, focusing on solid gameplay influenced by realism to keep it intuitive and informed by the lore, which is, as always, interpreted. Tabletop is entirely ignored in my approach, except its connection to the lore.

There is, NARRATIVE mode difficulty keeps the battle difficulty while the replenishment is very close to the vanilla, for you and for the enemy, so it is not going to be ultra easy since the enemy also enjoys increased replenishment.

I love this mod so far. One thing, is there a way you can make a difficulty to have the hardcoreness. But decent troop replenishment. I love the slowdown of fights and everything. I just can bring myself to wait 60 turns after first fight. Heh idk if theres a difficulty like this already in please let me know. Thanks for all the hard work!

He's used the base game heat sicking projectiles that one shot everything they touch, once he gets used to how they play he will appreciate them 100% more

Cannons should not melt infantry anyways they have bad aoe, use them vs large. This def a skill issue

skill has nothing to do with it. I had empire cannons on grape shot, on the flanks of enemy crossbows, firing unimpeded the entire battle, and they only managed 100 kills between both cannon units doing this. USELESS.

Massive skill issue mate, it can outright win a battle with correct positioning, I was the same at the start thinking it was terrible but it's honestly not.

ALSO- a stronger artillery submod would be appreciated. Currently im playing empire with zero artillery because its a wasted army slot at this point.

As Karl Franz, I start the campaign with imperial foot, but there is no option to recruit them on any building...is this a bug or intended?

i love this mod and the longer battles but the low replenishment rate makes me want to blow my head smooth off. is there a way to change that? if not, forget i asked
